Love the features!
It has premium features such as a power in port for 6V solar panel input. It has a time lapse, video+picture, and camera password functions, which I have not seen in trail cameras selling at this price range. My version came with a free 32GB microSD card so I can start using it right away. The trigger and picture quality seems to be better than the low quality 12MP WGI I am using. The quality is comparable to the 720p webcam on my laptop. It is able to take 4 or 8 AA batteries. It also has a micro USB output connection. So far I am very happy with this camera!

Good quality wildlife camera for a beginner

Great wildlife/trail camera for a beginner and beyond. Great that it’s supplied with the correct memory card. Feature setup is easy and straight forward via the on-screen menus. I also bought some rechargeable batteries to run the unit as it needs 8x AA - make sure you batteries rated at 1.5v . 5 nights of running it via timed use, 21:00 to 6:00, and it hasn’t even registered/used 1 unit of battery life on the battery indicator, so it’s battery usage looks pretty good. Would buy again.

Great for the price
Really happy with this product for the price. Accessing images via Bluetooth from inside my house without having to physically remove the card is the best. One thing to note if you’re just getting into trail cams, this product doesn’t have an infra red detector meaning it may take pictures of just leaves blowing around and not only live animals. Great buy tho!!

Good clear pictures
I'm not a camera buff, so I was a bit nervous about this camera; it's bigger than I expected, and I was a bit daunted by the manual's sections on customising the settings. But on reading it carefully and trying it out I found I could get the thing up and running and doing what I wanted pretty painlessly. I did have to go out for AA batteries, as it takes 8, and I bought in an SDHC card for it. Formatting the card was a doddle, and I had no trouble setting things like date and time. Fixing the camera with the strap provided was a bit fiddly, but once in place the camera has not budged even when I ejected the card and replaced it, or adjusted the line of sight. The picture quality is very good, and the sound clear. I have mine set to take 10 second video bursts, and I've been pretty happy with the result. I have not obtained any night footage, which I suspect is because my night-time visitors are below the range of the motion sensors; that's something I intend to experiment with. Overall I'm very pleased with this camera, which is very user-friendly, and I think it would be good for anyone but the most advanced and demanding users (and even they might find it meets their needs).

I've already used this thing a few times and everyone that has seen it is just blown away by how sharp it is, and how small it is. The ONLY gripe I have is the built in media player. I loaded up a 64GB Micro SDHC memory card with pictures and music videos on it. The videos are separated into folder (Rap, Rock, etc.). Well when you choose "play videos", it just alphabetizes EVERY .mp4 on the card. We're talking HUNDREDS of music videos that I broke into genres, just muddled between them, so no quasi-playlists for me. Kind of a bummer, but it does play whatever I throw at it, and it looks GOOD. Once I hooked my iPad to it and used my video playlists on it instead of the built-in player, it was perfect.

Great for capturing wildlife
I am using this trail camera now to capture wildlife in the country. My wife and I enjoy seeing all types of animals where we live. It is not uncommon for raccoons or possum to come up near us on the porch. This camera was super easy to set up. A nice perk was that it came with a memory card and batteries. I opened it, installed batteries, selected format card, default settings, and it was ready to go. We have it set up on the edge of nearby woods to capture pictures of deer at night. I've seen many come through at night but this camera captures images and video during the late hours of the night. We have had some rain and freezing temps here but this cam has performed flawlessly. I recommend this for the ease of use and quality of images. You can't go wrong with this setup.

Amazing Clarity!

My 15 year old wanted this Vikeri Trail Camera to track rail traffic...freight trains especially...and to a lesser degree Metrolink commuter trains. We set it up at night and cave back for it the next day! The night vision was amazing. It picked up everything...noise & light! So much so that the next night, my son changed which way the camera was facing so as to get less of the street traffic! I wish I had the night video to upload, but my son deleted it off the memory card! I do have the day video though! You can see how clear this camera films! I am blown away with the price point and quality! I've seen sooooo many trail cameras over the years and nothing has met this quality. We have it in our backyard right now! I've noticed some scat in our backyard and found out that we have a juvenile possum visiting us at night! Love this camera.

Excellent power options, decent picture quality, m
Treating this as a traditional trail camera and ignoring the wifi/app features, I will say on those merits alone it's a pretty nice camera. What I like most is that you can leave it alone for very extended periods of time if necessary, and not worry about it running out of power. It can run on its own with the solar panel and battery, but of course if you're installing it in a shaded area (which is very common for trail cams), the solar panel's charging capability will be reduced. It seems there is still some charging activity from the daylight itself (when not in direct sun) but it's obviously a lot less than direct sun exposure on the panel. They state it can last months even without sun exposure, but I haven't been able to test it for that long yet.You can install AA batteries which act as a reserve power supply, so if the solar battery ever runs out it can swap to those batteries as the solar battery recovers some charge. I recommend using lithium AAs over alkaline if you can, not only do they last longer but they'll operate better in extreme temperature conditions. But if you frequently visit the camera then regular alkalines will do since you can swap them. It's interesting that it has 2 separate cameras for daylight and nightvision. Every trail cam I've used in the past uses the same camera for both. I am not entirely sure on the benefits here. If I had to speculate, the lower megapixel night camera is better suited to reducing noise in the images as it's more difficult to suppress noise on higher megapixel sensors usually. The 60MP claim for the day camera is a bit ridiculous in my opinion. Sure, the sensor may technically be that high but the tiny lenses on these cameras cannot take advantage of that kind of resolution. Even the most expensive SLR camera lenses would struggle with resolving that. My advice is to reduce the resolution of the photos to save space on the SD card, you don't lose anything really by doing this.Trigger speed seems relatively fast. Not class-leading, but this is a budget camera. As long as the target is not immediately in front of the camera and moving quickly, it should have no trouble capturing it.Using the wifi and app felt kind of frustrating. For some reason it kept wanting me to manually go turn on wifi on the camera to connect, which kind of defeats the purpose of being able to just move near the camera and check up on it without opening it up and interacting with the little screen on it. But it is still useful to review photos in the field without downloading from the SD card. It's just kind of slow to download. Overall these features seem a bit half baked, but I still think as a budget class trail camera it works pretty well. It's ideal for those who plan to leave the camera unattended for extended periods of time.
