Pretty good
The quality is better than the Raspberry Pi's built-in Analog sound so i'm digging this cheap little guy, only kinda crap part is that its kinda weakly made, is snaps apart and doesn't go back together but that's not a big issue for myself.

Great capacity for the physical size
I needed something larger than a traditional USB drive in capacity but smaller in size to be used in a Raspberry Pi project and this offers the added storage without the excess bulk. SanDisk is my trusted go to brand for storage and is one that I always look for when choosing media storage.

High power draw. May perform badly if it's power s
I've tried this drive both with a Raspberry Pi 4 (using a USB SATA cable), and with an older laptop.On the Raspberry Pi, the drive drew too much power. Using a 3.6 amp power supply (18 watts), the Raspberry Pi would put a lightning bolt icon on the screen while reading from the drive, and the drive would click at the exact same time. Also, speeds were terrible.When I tried it on an old laptop (HP Elitebook G3), it worked perfectly. The speeds were decently fast. The drive was apparently getting enough power.In response to some of the reviews saying the drive was very slow, it's quite possible that the machine you are using is not providing the drive with enough power.So, overall, the drive is working fine, but not for the use I wanted it for. I initially wanted a cheap drive around 300 GB for running Retropie. But this drive draws too much power to be used like that. So instead I'll just keep it around as a spare.Also, as a side note, it's a full 9mm thick, so will not fit in ultrathin machines that need a 7.5mm drive.

Muy recomendable.
De momento estoy contento lo tengo conectado a una raspberry pi3 y haciendo pruebas con un monitor LG 1919ls 4:3 VGA para mi futura bartop, y va de maravilla se ve muy bien, lo único que el cable USB es mejor conectarlo a un enchufe USB para no cargar tanto la raspberry. Recomendable y económico, aver si dura.

Decent but slow
Plugged into a Raspberry Pi 4B, its write speed on large files is slower than the USB 3.0 connection. Read speeds seem fine, and the price is right. I had expected better, though.Note that this is thicker than many portable 2.5" hard drives, and the case is rounded, slippery, and not equipped with non-slip feet. It would be very easy to knock this off the table, so I am going to buy some feet for it. They should be included!

Perfectamente compatible con una raspberry Pi 3
Funciona genial, tanto para el video como el audio. La he usado principalmente en una raspberry Pi 3 conectada a un monitor, aunque últimamente la uso en un pc con el mismo fin. Totalmente recomendable.

This is the third time I'm buying this.1) The first one went to a friend when his Mac laptop sound stopped working. It looked like it was designed for his Mac.2) I used it when plugging into an old tube type audio amp that I wasn't sure about. This USB sound card died, but my laptop lived. I later measured the amp input at 60 volts. Floating ground. No wonder it died.3) This one has gone back on my Raspberry Pi. It simply works, and it sounds so much better than the Pi's normal audio output. There are other sound cards that sit on top of the Pi, but I get to use a normal Pi case with this one.

Connect your old monitor to something newer!
We use this to connect a Raspberry Pi to an older Dell monitor. It works great, just plug and play. The picture quality is good, but we are obviously not using it with anything hi-def. Seems fairly sturdy for what it is. Came well packaged in a small cardboard box inside the Amazon mailer.
