I bought one for my mom and one for me. After trying them out, I bought two more, for my dad and my husband. I've never used any other webcams, so I can't give a personal comparison. But reviews by consumers and professional review sites gave them high marks, and I was not disappointed. Good picture quality, decent mic for the intended use. My mom found it difficult to get the angle right, but I didn't (her monitor is higher than mine).

I researched 1080 webcams on Best Buy and found this as one of the few selections. I then did research on Aluratek as it's not a brand name like Logitech. What gave me confidence is they had some kind of product track record (in their case, digital frames), so I was willing to give them a chance. It's been about a week of use, and, their 1080 webcam does indeed work. I plugged it right into USB and there were nothing else to install, it simply registered in Zoom's dropdown menu for Camera Inputs. Thank goodness.

Glad I got it. The video is clear enough that you can use the wide angle or depending on your preferred software it still looks good cropped.I mainly use mine with a green screen and it captures the color well.Occasionally I want to show the background in my video, this is wide enough to capture a good background.I was also surprised at the weight of this camera when I opened the box. Most of my webcams are so light that the cable will lift ut up, this is not the case with this one.

This webcam has live up to my expectations. I've owned several webcams in the past and needed to upgrade to a newer unit as my last one was about 6 years old.I reviewed several before deciding on the Logitech C615. The unit I was replacing was a Logitech so I decided to stay with that brand.The features and resolution are great. It has actually exceeded my expectations.The only downside I have to this purchase from Amazon is that it took them a week to ship the unit. Once it was shipped it arrived as expected.

Ich freue mich, wenn ich Ihnen weiterhelfen konnte.In einer kleinen attraktiven Box kam die Webcam unbeschadet bei mir an. Dabei ist das Gerät selbst, eine Fernbedienung, eine magnetische Schutzklappe und Bedienungsanleitung.Die Verarbeitung der Webcam ist schonmal sehr gut, alles ist sauber verarbeitet und der Kunststoff ist von der stabilen Sorte. Auch machen alle beweglichen Teile einen guten Eindruck, man kann die Kamera in ihrer Halterung sowohl horizontal als auch vertikal drehen und neigen, wobei das Kabel ein wenig blockiert, will man die Kamera nach oben gucken lassen – das dürfte aber auch eine eher unübliche Positionierung sein.Der ausgeklügelte Ständer ist mit seinen vielen Gelenken flexibel genug, um auf vielerlei Monitoren, Laptops und anderen Dingen Halt zu finden, unterstützt wird dies durch halbklebrige Pads, die anfangs noch durch eine Folie geschützt sind.Unter Windows 10 wurde die Kamera bei mir problemlos erkannt und war sofort einsatzbereit, vergleichen konnte ich sie mit einer ähnlichen Webcam, die ich derzeit in Betrieb habe. Zunächst fiel mir auf, dass die Kamera keinen Autofokus bietet – wenn die Objekte aber nicht zu nah oder zu weit weg sind, wird dennoch ein recht scharfes, sauberes Bild geliefert. Insgesamt ist das Bild jedoch ein wenig dunkler als ich es gewohnt bin, mit seinen 60FPS und der FHD-Auflösung aber doch recht gut.Das Ringlicht ist praktisch, schade, dass man sich hier für eine rein kalte Lichtfarbe entschieden hat, diese ist mir persönlich ein wenig zu bläulich. Mit einem Tippen auf den schwarzen Innenring kann man dieses komfortabel ein- und ausschalten und die drei Helligkeiten einstellen.Bei meinem Test-Video-Call konnte mich mein Gegenüber hervorragend sehen, die Bildqualität war sehr gut und auch der Ton wurde sauber übertragen, wobei ich normalerweise ein separates Mikrofon verwende, dessen Klang nicht mit dem einer Webcam vergleichbar ist – doch sollte man nur die Webcam nutzen wollen, ist der Klang des Mikrofons vollkommen ausreichend und gut.Nett finde auch die Magnetabdeckung, die ganz gut hält – ich gehöre zwar inzwischen nicht mehr zu den Personen, die hier akribisch genau alle Kameras immer abgedeckt hält, aber ein Nice-to-Have ist es dennoch. Denn manchmal ist es auch für mich ein bisschen beruhigender, wenn man Mikrofone ausschalten und Kameras abdecken kann. Die Fernbedienung ist praktisch, wenn man sich z.B. etwas von der Kamera entfernt filmt.Fazit: Lange Rede, kurzer Sinn – die Kamera lässt zwar ein paar Kleinigkeiten vermissen, am meisten wohl den Autofokus, doch sie liefert dennoch saubere Bilder, die farblich zwar ein wenig dunkler daherkommen, aber das ist vernachlässigbar. Preislich in Ordnung und definitiv mindestens eine Klasse über den „üblichen Verdächtigen“ – solide 4 Sterne von meiner Seite.

Product size is a little too big for me...Pros: Excellent built-in mic. You can talk like 6 feet away and yet the other party can still listen to you.Cons: Video cam is not so outstanding, just a little bit better than those regular webcams. I thought it would be a lot much sharper but when you use skype or yahoo, the image or videos broadcasted wasn't what I expected.

This is a great device, doing exactly what it is designed to do, at a surprisingly low price. Simple to set up with a USB connection and the various apps, (Zoom, Teams, Hangouts, Facebook) all simply recognise it for what it is and use it without needing any fiddly set up. It gives a much clearer, better, wider-angle picture than built-in webcams.

Compared to my previous fuzzy webcams, this one has a crystal sharp picture that shows every wrinkle, mole, and wart.I bought two more, same model, but used, and they are great also. Warning, older computers won't do well with the exciting yahoo messenger program, (which lets you see and talk between in house computers) as the program eats all resources. Logitech's programs work fine, though.
