Great value light when used right (see details). Recommended
I got the Pixel video light immediately following a less than great experience with a BOLING BL-P1. My goal was to find a decent cold-shoe, or stand-mounted, key light. The similarities between the Pixel and BL-P1 are numerous, yet the Pixel is quite a bit better.I guess I should get the good things out of the way first. The Pixel has impressive looking build quality, with a decent chassis and easy-to-use controls. In particular, I love that the controls can be operated from the front, or the back (though the OLED screen being on the back does limit you somewhat). The decision to use a USB-C connector, instead of a micro-USB or proprietary barrel connector, is much appreciated. It would have been even better if the unit supported USB PD. Supposedly it supports QC 3.0, but that doesn't seem congruent with the markings on the unit (or the charge time claim). The mounting options were good for my various needs - on camera and off camera. The built-in battery is adequate. The light is very easy to operate. For the all of the positives, it seems like there's a similar amount of negatives. One of the most obvious weaknesses, for me, is that the diffuser is completely inadequate. I don't care that there are SMD LEDs, but I do care that I can see them INDIVIDUALLY in highly reflective surfaces. What's the point of having a diffuser if I have to put the thing in a softbox anyway? Next, the light isn't all that bright - especially given its claimed brightness. That's important because this is a COLOR light, and the measured brightness is much different that if you've got the thing set to "white". While the color selection is versatile, I'm disappointed that the RGB color curve isn't very accurate. I know that the output of RGBW LEDs isn't very linear (or accurate), but a product like this should have the control settings remapped, based on the LEDs' output characteristics.... we aren't talking about decorative strips of 5050 LEDs strung up around a dorm room, after all.If you're the type of person that just is going to set the color based on what you see (and how you feel), then you'll probably be fine with this. For me, though, my setup consists of zeroing and leveling my still and video data against grey cubes, and planning out my color staging. However, I will use this for secondary and accent lighting, which doesn't require as much precision. The main reason why I like the Pixel, but hate the nearly identical BL-P1 is price. At about half of the price of the Boling, the Pixel is an awesome value. While it's not the most precise or versatile lighting accessory, it is convenient, super portable, and fairly priced. Better after the update.. but still some issues
Contrary to other reviewers, I found the set up process to be fairly easy although there were a few minor hiccups.SETUPWhen you turn it on, a voice prompts you to scan the QR code. It takes you to the iTunes page and I downloaded the app.For some reason, it would recognize our 5ghz wifi network but could not connect. I changed it to the 2ghz and it worked. It will prompt you to scan another QR code on your phone. If you hold your phone too close to the device, it won't recognize it. Hold it about 10-12" away.Everything connected as expected here on out.PERFORMANCEThe speaker is pretty bad. It is super tinny and has white noise in the background if you try to turn it louder. Ironically there is a white noise feature, and it sounds just like it.The night light works great and as expected, although maybe too dim for what I'd like. The camera's resolution and color representation was pretty off out of the box. The whites are really yellow for some reasons. There is a banner prompt that says there's an update available. After doing the update, the resolution is much better and the color now looks natural.OTHERIt's pretty misleading how it lists "digital pan, tilt, and zoom" as a feature. This just means that you can zoom in and out by pinching/expanding your fingers and moving what is displayed with your finger, aka scrolling. There is no actual physical movement of the camera's lens. Still, for the price, this is a decent camera, but it all depends on what you were expecting.

Flawed, but Recommend
We've had this monitor for a month now. I absolutely love the fact that the camera rotates. We did purchase the wide angle lens because we wanted to keep an eye on the entirety of my toddler's room when she's in there playing independently. If you're not looking for a full room view, you're fine with what comes in the box.Picture quality isn't great, but I've never owned a video monitor prior to this in order to claim that it's better or worse than others.Sometimes our phones/laptops interfere with the signal, but I just move the monitor closer in the direction of her room and then it's fine. The night vision, in many ways, works well. What I don't like about it is that I have no control of when it turns on or off. Sometimes it flickers between night vision and normal for a few minutes because the sunlight changes outside of my daughter's window. It's a bit frustrating. The only thing I find super sketch is that the company offers to send you an additional camera for free if you give them a (highly suggested) 5-star review and don't mention the free camera. I feel like if a company is going to offer that, then it means they could probably charge less for the original monitor kit because dang, it's not cheap. But maybe free stuff is your thing?Tl;dr: expensive, but so far worth it for a mother who needs to keep an eye on her busy toddler while in another room.

Good, inexpensive, substitute for a GoPro.
Bought this along with the “ SMALLRIG Cool Ballhead Arm Super Clamp Mount Multi-Function Double Ball Adapter with Bottom Clamp” https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DJ5XH4O/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 to take on a once-in-a-lifetime fishing trip to Alaska. Worked fantastic. The lens has a wider view than I expected, more like a security camera. The resolution is decent, but not on the par of a nice iPhone. It is nice and compact, and comes with a variety of mounting types to allow for multiple uses. I used the waterproof box which worked very well. The only downside of the box is that the sound is GREATLY reduced, which is to be expected since it’s in a box...The batteries last a nice long time, which is nice, and it comes with 2. Much longer than my “point and click” digital camera. It would have been nice to have an external battery charger rather than needing to plug a USB cable into the camera to charge. However, again the batteries last a long time. I didn’t run out, and I just charged them again in the evening.I didn’t see this in the manual (although I admit to not reading the manual word-for-word), but when in continuous recording mode the recordings are automatically clipped into 15 minute segments. My brother had a GoPro, and his were limited to 8 minute segments. All in all, a good inexpensive substitute for a GoPro.

WOW what a bargain for all the features!
WOW what a bargain for all the features! I am reviewing model JOH T1. Some of the provided Amazon reviews are NOT for this model Game Trail Camera. The sales page description has several errors. This model DOES NOT have WIFI. This model uses the Micro-SD memory card. The instructions recommend using a 32 GB but claims to accept a maximum 512 GB Micro-SD card. Now if it is only waterproof for many years like my trusted Stealthcam. The setup menu was easy to navigate, although you must RTFM to learn of the definitions of the many many features. A nice feature is that you can set your own 4 digit "Serial Number" to keep track of which camera took what pictures. The photographs are stamped with this "Serial Number" and the Moon Phase, date and time, and temperature. The 32 MP daytime color photographs are sharp. I don't know yet what IR flash photographs will look like. The THREE PIR sensors and lens are covered with a protective plastic film labeled "REMOVE". However, the IR flash area is also covered with an invisible clear protective plastic film that the instruction manual fails to mention needing to be removed. The kit includes a too short tree strap, and a nice very adjustable double ball swivel mount. I bolted the double ball swivel to a short piece of angle iron so that I could tie it to a tree. If this Game Camera makes it through this Deer Hunting Season's freezing sleet and stays waterproof, then I am going to buy several more.

According to Zhiyun's list, the Crane M3 is desig
According to Zhiyun, the maximum payload for the Crane M3 is 2.2 lbs. = 1 kg (1000 g).Therefore, I assumed it would easily support a 240 g iPhone 13 pro max, a 73 g DJI light, a 28 g diffusion lens with clip, and a 31 g wireless mic receiver, for a total of 540 g: however, my experiences is that it could not support even the 240g cell phone and a lightweight plastic phone clamp. Here is the problem: note that the grayed-out DSLR in Amazon's image, from back to front, has significant depth, which makes it is easy to balance the tilt motor, by sliding the camera back and forth a few mm at a time.Problem is, a cell phone mounted in a phone clamp has only minimal depth from front to back. Despite positioning the phone and clamp as far forward as possible on the tilt motor, it was still impossible to balance. When released from my hand from a vertical position, it would fall backward with significant force. The reason I am deducting one star is that the title suggests the device is designed for use with Smartphones. Actually, according to Zhiyun's compatibility list, the Crane M3 is designed to work with a specific subset of DSLR cameras, with Sony at the top of the list.BTW, according to a Vlogger who states that he is especially familiar with the Zhiyun line, if the purchaser notifies the company which particular camera they intend to use when they order the device, the company will supply the device with a mounting plate specifically designed for that particular camera.

A Great Entry Level DSLR With Tons of Features
Back in the mid 1980s, I purchased a Canon EOS 650 -- one of their first autofocus film cameras -- to use as my high school's yearbook editor and photographer. I absolutely loved the camera; my nephew recently inherited it, and he loves it as well. It took amazing pictures. Offered a plethora of features. And has lasted over 20 years. However, prior to purchasing the T3, I did my research regarding entry-level DSLR cameras, and had narrowed it down to the Nikon D3100 and the T3. Yes, the Nikon offers higher megapixels. Yes, the Nikon has better HD video modes. However, much wanting an e-reader for the specific purpose of reading books, I wanted a DSLR camera that would take amazing pictures -- not record state-of-the-art video. I have a video camera for that. (As an aside, I've shot some video with the T3, and the quality is fine for stuff like YouTube or personal blogs. If you're a user wanting more than that, I'm unsure why would would be using your DSLR for video in the first place.)I chose the T3. And could not be happier.Other things I like about the T3?1. Canon is known for outstanding image quality. Their CMOS sensor and DIGIC processor combine to produce some of the best (if not _the_ best) images in the industry.2. Canon lenses -- even the less expensive ones made for "prosumers" (professional consumers who often don't spend more on a lens than the actual camera body itself cost) -- are extremely high quality.3. Speaking of lenses, great ones are also available from third-party vendors. In fact, I purchased a 50-200 zoom lens from Sigma, and it works perfectly with the T3. It was also quite a bit less expensive than the Canon alternative.4. Very lightweight. (I actually like the body construction and materials used.)5. Features? Tons. And the menu system is rather easy to navigate. Yes, I'm aware another reviewer has been rather negative regarding the Canon interface; however, do your research. Many DSLR users prefer the Canon menu system to those of other manufacturers. It can be confusing, but only if you are a complete novice to photography and know nothing about the actual art. If you want to turn a camera on and push a button or two, a DSLR is not what you need. If you want to have more control (complete control, even) over your results and are willing to take the time to learn the vocabulary and skills necessary, then you are ready for a DSLR.6. Detailed manual. Yes, it's long. Yes, it's detailed. But with so many features and combinations of settings, I'd much rather have detail versus "the basics." (Though there is a "basics" version as well). The T3 is not a toy. It's a tool. As with any tool, you need to take the time to learn to use it effectively.7. 12.2 MP is an ideal amount for an entry-level DSLR and results in great detail. If you are wanting to enlarge your images to wall-mural size, you're better off using a film camera anyway.8. I'm content with the video features offered because I will rarely (if ever) use my DSLR for video recording. I have a dedicated digital-video camera for that. (Why wouldn't you?)

Good quality product for the money
This is a very good monitor for the money. We have purchased 2 and while we have had a few problems, the manufacturer has excellent customer service and stands by their products. We have now had these cameras for over 4 years and 2 years for our boys and they work great! The regular lens works very well while focused on the crib and and the optional wide angle lens works great for a view of the entire bedroom. I also love that it has a talk button so I can talk through the monitor into their rooms... it can save a trip to their room in the middle of the night. I like that it does NOT hook up to wifi or blue tooth. Maybe I am old school. It also has fairly good range if I take the monitor outside during nap time.I do recommend this product and it is always worth reaching out to the manufacturer if you have any questions or concerns.
