Described well in the description
I just hooked my projector up in the house to make sure everything works and it did! I will be using this outside this summer for movies on the lake around the bonfire. It is too light in the house right now to see if the cloth screen will be sufficient enough so I will try that later but from what I can see it should be fine! I may have to put a piece of cardboard behind the 100" screen so that the wind doesn't blow it when I use it outside.

Good Camera with motion detection
UPDATE - September 27, 2022: This camera has continued beyond my expectations that I had to order more and I have replaced all my Nest Cameras with this camera. What I really like about the camera is the 360 degrees and the ability to even record good images in low lighting situations like at night or cloudy days. I have their cloud subscription which is much cheaper than Nest. The lessons I have learned from this camera is that cost does not always determine the quality. This camera is far cheaper than my nest cameras but the performance is superior to nest. The only nest camera I am keeping are the door bells. As soon as this produces door bell cameras, I will definitely use them and abandon Nest entirely. For the price point, this is an excellent camera. The 360 degrees view allows me to remotely watch my whole property. Photo quality is great during the day. In the night, it's difficult to recognize the facesn but that's a problem most cameras face. I initially had some issues with battery life and the camera still died even though I had it connected to solar panels. I reached out to the customer support and they guided me on adjusting some of the AI features and now that problem is solved. The motion detection needs to be improved. Several times it picked up the shadow of my water hose hanging outside as a person. Not cool! I recommend this camera and I intend to buy more for my other properties.

Comparable to other higher end turrets
Overall a comparable IP camera to a Hik-Vision or other Turret camera @8mp.Design- Housing feels to be a mix of metal and plastic however sturdy and well built. Has pigtail Ethernet and 12v connector if you don’t have POE and would like to use a standard Ethernet line with a 12v adapter. In my case I used a POE switch to configureApp- I installed and setup via the Amcrest View Pro app via iOS. After installing the camera the app was quick to find the camera and allow for setup and change password. Default password is admin. App is easy to navigate and offers more features than what this particular camera had to offer. Allows for 2 streaming types SD and HD. The nice feature is that the app allows you to select your streaming resolution for each other than just pre-determined resolutions ( huge plus ). App is smooth, loads quickly and has very minimal delay when connecting to the camera when not on the same network ( another huge plus ). This allows for quick live view of your camera.Picture- This camera is an 8MP for around 110$. The picture quality is comparable to other higher end cameras at 5MP ( this could be the app or my iOS device ) like Hikvision or UniView. This camera could be better in the picture quality department however at 110$ not bad. Night vision is pretty good as I was able to view facial features indoor at about 30feet which is comparable to higher end cameras.

Pet sitter and Security Camera
The camera is easy to set up - you just connect to the camera's wifi "hotspot" and then switch to your router. Once you are connected, you can watch the camera live stream, take snapshots or record video. I added a micro SD card so I could move files from the camera to my computer by transferring the card contents. The camera can stick on steel/iron like a magnet, or you can place it almost anywhere using the adhesive base. I was able to get snapshots and videos of my dogs, and I could see them from the "MyLiveCam" app on my phone. They never noticed the camera. This camera is about 1.75 inches wide and 1 inch high. It includes a magnetic base, a swivel/tilt stalk and a short micro USB to USB 2.0 charging cable. When it is mounted on the base it is about 2.5 inches high. It can stay plugged in to an outlet to stay continuously charged, or the working time, unplugged, on a full battery charge, is about 2 hours. The software allows you to switch from IR mode to "non" IR mode and I included an IR shot from a darkened room with my dog (eyes look like white balls) and I saved a shot in regular mode in full color at 1080p.You can reverse the horizontal and vertical images in case you accidentally have the camera mounted upside down or sideways. This little camera is an inexpensive way to feel more secure and a great way to get fun candid photos of your pets.

Looks great so far!
Update 10/3/19I have been using the camera for a couple of days now. I have it hooked up the the rear view mirror of my Suzuki. I have been using the 1080 30fps setting, without stabilization. The quality of the video has been quite good (once I remembered to remove the protective film off of the of the lense!). I wish the camera had a 720 60fps setting, as 1080 is overkill for YouTube and Facebook.Using the LIVE DV app it took quite a while to transfer the videos onto my tablet for editing. Of course I could have just put the SD card into my tablet and transferred them quickly, but I was curious about how the app worked. It worked ok. The interface could be better, and some editing tools would be nice. The camera split my videos up into 500 mb segments, each about 3 minutes long (guesstimate). That’s fine with me, as I will be editing the videos, but it could be problematic for some people.I used the waterproof case, and I was surprised at how much of the engine sound was picked up!Over all the camera functions as well or better than my sjcam4000.Original review:The camera arrived on time and in good condition. The camera appears to be sturdy. I fully charged it, formatted the Samsung SD card, then tried the various functions. It functioned perfectly. I will be upgrading this review as I get more experience with the camera. The manual is detailed, but did not explain how to remove the camera from the waterproof casing (it came with the camera in the case). It took me a few to figure it out.

Great camera from a great company
I bought this camera after owning an Akaso EK7000. Going on a ski trip to Switzerland and France and wanted an additional camera so my husband and I can both mount one on our helmet. The main reason I chose Akaso is the quality. While on a trip in the Costa Rican rainforest I took my EK7000 into the water without the correct back on the water proof case. Anyone who has changed the backs on their cases know that some have openings in them. Well long story short the camera filled with water and shut off immediately. Upon pulling the camera out it continued to leak out water. After letting it sit for a while I replaced the battery and it powered on but the screen was just a white blur. I figured at this point id destroyed the camera. After letting the camera continue to dry out I turned it on again and it worked flawlessly. I was beyond shocked. I've been using the camera for a year since and it's still going strong.I haven't used the v50 pro much but I have played with it a few times since getting it and it is a great camera. The anti shake is great. Picture quality is very good. Battery life is average to good for action cameras. It is a great deal for the price and easily competes with gopros. For the weekend warrior adventurer this camera cannot be beat. I highly recommend from my use of this and akasos other products.

These folks really take customer service to the ne
SECOND REVIEW>>>>My first review was factual in that the housing failed somewhere on a 70 foot dive which then fried the camera. My Testing of the camera prior to the dive gave great results with the camera, but salt water is not a friend to electronics. The up side to the failure was that the folks gave me a full replacement. I couldn’t be happier. I would buy from these folk again in a heartbeat. I was very impressed with their response to the problem. I didn’t find any fault with the first camera and do not expect an issue with the one I just received. As a precaution I may test the housing before my next dive. I do not expect a problem, but will do it now with any underwater equipment housings. Again, this is a company you can trust to work any issues. Thanks Guys/Gals. FIRST REVIEW>>>> I Bought it for underwater use. Tested it out before diving and all worked well. Seemed like it would do the job as I intended it to.Case leaked some time before I turned the camera on under water....and when I went to turn the camera on.... that was all there was to it. When I got back to shore and removed camera from housing and found the water inside I inspected everything and could not find an issue. Did the rice trick but the camera was toast. No apparent issue with housing that I can see. Suggest an anyone that plans to use this underwater first take the case to depth, without the camera, (my dive was around 70 ft or 23 m) to assure it isn't leaking.

Great price and good camera for someone new to act
Purchased the V50X in March and have used it several times while traveling and hiking. This was my first action camera, so I had a few things to learn. The instructions were helpful, but because I am not a photographer I had to learn about things like white balance, color settings and resolution.Used the camera while hiking several tails in Utah and the pictures turned out perfectly. Also used the camera while driving. Once I figured out how to avoid reflections from the windshield, I had great results.Honestly, I am still learning, and it is fun. This is a good camera and priced right for someone like me who wants to explore using an action camera. Also, it captures great action shots in places that would put my more expensive smart phone at risk. While kayaking with my wife. We were recording with my phone and then I realized I could use the action camera with excellent video without risking my $900 phone. For me and my purposes, this is a five-star camera, but the sound has been a letdown. I thought the camera could adequately capture sound without a mic. I watched a review on YouTube and the reviewer seemed to have no trouble with audio recording, so I assume I am not projecting enough when talking and recording. The solution is simple, an added mic, and there is a micro-HDMI port for it.I recommend this camera. Hard to go wrong with the price but be aware that you should get a mic to go with it.

Phenomenal, pending your intended use...
Allow me to succinctly summarize if this is the 360 camera you should splurge for:EXCELLENT CHOICE: Primarily intend to shoot 360 photos or record indoor 360 videos. There is simply no other 360 camera under $1000 that comes close to the video quality this produces in indoor lighting.POOR CHOICE: Primarily intend on using as a 360 action camera. Although some may appreciate the increased dynamic range offered by the 1 inch sensor, most won't see a notable difference in video quality to other 360 cameras in natural lighting. The One X3 or even One X2 are significantly better options as action cameras coming in a smaller and lighter weight package that is capable of being submerged in water, and record at least twice the frame rate for half the cost.Yes, the decision really is that simple. Wanting a 360 camera for indoor use; then the extra cost of this camera is for well worth it. Cameras capable of capturing decent photos and videos in poor lighting have historically come at a premium expense, and even in today's technological standards are a true rarity in 360 models. Desire a 360 camera mostly for outdoor excursions; then I'd recommend not regretting paying the premium for this camera and go with the X3 that you'll likely find more capable for such use while saving significant cash.Of note: I have fortunately not experienced any overheating shutoffs encountered by other reviewers. I primarily use this camera recording family events providing the means to participate in the fun with my kids, rather than focus on keeping a camera directed towards them.
