 I currently have over 9 Wansview cameras. What started as a single camera to use for keeping an eye on my new baby has grown over the years to include a full set of outdoor security cameras as well as some interior cameras to watch my successive kids and also to see the play areas. I’ve been really happy with these cameras. They have worked well for me and my wife over the years. The one thing that I would have liked, was an outdoor camera that could be moved and now Wansview has it.I used this new camera to replace another one that had been keeping an eye on my driveway. I like that I can move where it is aimed to better keep track of what’s going on near any vehicles parked in the driveway. The old camera is now giving me a second view of my backyard :)Picture quality is really good with this camera. I don’t have any issues at night either. I can see what’s going on really easily when it is dark.Although I don’t use it, the ability to speak out of the camera is pretty cool. I haven’t spent much time listening to what the camera hears but it seems to work pretty well too.Overall, I’m super happy to have this new camera.

I had issues with my camera: H.265 encoding (which is essential for me, and the main reason I bought this camera) wasn't working: despite being set in the configuration menu, the camera was still recording all movies in H.264. So I contacted AKASO and they promptly sent me an updated firmware that fixed it. But, turns out my camera's hardware version was too old for that firmware (apparently I got sent an older version by mistake) and the new firmware made the touchscreen nonoperative, basically rendering the camera unusable.AKASO promptly offered me a return, despite the Amazon 30-day return window being over, and when I explained I was outside the US on an extended trip and would be unable to return the camera, they refunded me just the same! With the refund money, I was able to buy a local camera and continue filming my trip.This is what I call excellent service! Mistakes happen, but AKASO's willingness to fix things for me made all the difference.I have great confidence in the company, and will certainly consider buying their products again when the time comes. I can also recommend this camera in particular, as except the H.265 mode, it was working perfectly, and I understand the newer hardware versions which you would probably get, also have functioning H.265.

I was in the market for a new action camera, and being the previous owner of 2 different GoPros, I wasn't really impressed with the ones I had owned nor the price tag of newer models. Knowing what I paid for the older ones too also was extremely unimpressive to me based on my experience with the GP cameras.While researching, I came across this product and read through the reviews and felt good about making the purchase. The price tag also wasn't so absurd that I'd be mad at myself if I ended up not liking the camera.After receiving the camera, I was not only pleased at the money I had saved by going with this camera, I was extremely pleased with the camera itself. All the different features and modes were incredible, I loved the touch screen aspect of it and the 4K video setting absolutely blew me away when it came to the quality of the picture.If you use the 4K setting, do know that it drains the battery decently quick, but you can have the camera plugged in via micro-USB in order for it to stay on continuously through filming (that is if you're in a stationary filming location).The only thing I had trouble with was connecting my phone (iPhone 7 Plus) to the camera's WIFI system in order to control it from the app. After many attempts, it did eventually work, but it was not easy to get it to connect. I'm not sure if this was due to my phone or the camera's firmware/software so I can't totally blame it on the camera, it just wasn't the smoothest working system. BUT, the camera is easily controlled through the touch screen and settings/modes are very easy to change right on the camera itself.When getting a memory card for this, definitely spend a little extra on a higher quality card that can handle this video quality. I use the Samsung 128GB Evo Select with it and it has worked flawlessly.So as my title said, ditch the GoPro, save some money and buy this camera! I plan to buy a second one soon!

I would have given the camera 5 stars....however I did have a few minor issues. The first was the camera came with no owners manual....it did, however, have a quick start manual.....which was about the most useless quick start manual of any electronic device I have ever read. After viewing several how-to videos on Youtube, I finally figured things out. It wasn't until after visiting the Akaso site, I found a pdf of the manual you could download. The camera sound and image quality were excellent. The wrist remote I'm still struggling with. It will turn on 10 feet from the camera when pressed....however I have to be directly over the camera for the wristband to turn it off. I'm hoping this is simply a weak battery issue. The date and time have to be constantly updated after removing the battery....this is a little annoying My GoPro Hero 4 silver bit the dust this past fall..... and having used it only around 10 times...I was leary of spending a lot on an action camera. The Akaso V50 Pro Native 4k is an excellent replacement... and now has me thinking perhaps of getting another one. I have researched the budget cams for a month and this particular camera always scored high in reviews. The camera is a bargain if you catch it on sale for $90 or less....but at $120.....I would go with a low-end GoPro for around $160

What was Logitech thinking? They provide a cable that for most people, isn't long enough. That in itself was just dumb. This obviously isn't the first camera that they've brought to market. The other issue, which is well documented in the reviews, is that it's a fixed cable so if anything happens to the cable, your SOS. The other issue for many people is that they provided a camera with USB-C. Therefore, for those without USB-C input, you have to spend 10-15 bucks on an adapter.I'm returning this camera and going with the Brio 4K camera. Image quality is about the same - in some situations one camera is better and in other situations the other camera is better. Both are really good. However, the Brio has the cable situation done right. Also, I really like the fact that the Brio allows you to choose 3 different fields of view. Since my main use is video conferencing, I really like this option so that I can choose the frame that is best suited for my environment. With the included software, I can zoom in or out for even more fine tuning.Lastly, the StreamCam is fine looking, but it is a lot of camera sitting on your monitor. For some, that might not be a big deal. For me, I kind of like less attention drawn to the camera when in my office.

Great camera for the low price! I bought this camera because I was going on a cruise to the Bahamas with some friends and I wanted to be able to take some pictures and videos while we were in the water and also while snorkeling. I did not want to spend the money on a GoPro because I knew I would not be using the camera often and I did not need all the bells and whistles that the GoPro offers. Just give me something I can take in the water and make cool videos with lol. The camera also takes good pictures outside of the water as well and I got many good shots. Since you are only paying $70, I would not expect the same quality as a GoPro or other high end camera (let's be realistic) but it gets the job done! The camera came with many different attachments, but I mostly used the "selfie stick" (although I wish there was a button on it that would take the pictures instead of me having to use the burst mode, but no big deal!). Make sure you buy a memory card because the camera does not come with one, I bought a 32gb for only $18 and it has plenty of space for videos and pictures. All in all I would recommend this camera for anyone who wants to take some good pictures and videos without having expertise in photography and does not want to pay the high price for a GoPro.

I received my new camera a couple of days. My primary reason for purchase is to record my motorcycle rides.The package was packed nicely and along with the camera were many accessories. There is a quick guide in the box and a QR code to scan to download instructions. There are two batteries, both of which fully charged in less than an hour.After reading instructions and attaching the camera to my Ninja I went for a 20 minute ride. Once back home I downloaded the videos onto my laptop. I was very impressed with the video quality and used my Adobe Premiere software to enhance my video for later use. However, this was a personal choice. The video quality without the enhancement is great for this price range.The camera has a touch screen which one can use to review videos and adjust settings. The various settings can be used for a variety of setups once you learn how to use them. A quick YouTube search will give you several ideas.I still have to learn to use all the settings to get the most out of this camera. But that comes with time.If there is a con I have to speak of it would be that it took me some time to unpackage the camera once I got it out of the box. There were no instructions for that. But obviously after some time I figured it out.I would recommend this camera for anyone looking for an alternative to the more expensive GoPro camera.

 We bought this camera because we wanted a camera that would allow us to zoom in and see the blind corners on our property as well as down our street. Well this camera has surpassed our expectations. Not only is it super easy to set up, just plus and play. The features on it are amazing and work perfect for our needs. I love the fact we can speak on the camera speaker while inside the house and the person outside can hear us talking. I been messing with our dogs, they look at the camera wondering where our voices are coming from.This camera also allows us to listen to what it going on outside if wanted. We set it up with an SD card in the camera; this allows us to playback and recording we want to watch back at a later time. I included a video of it set up on our land and a few pictures of my husband’s handily work. Because my husband is retired and loves doing things around the outside of our house, he decided to put our cam up on its own pole and create a little roof for it. Of course, we did not need to do this because it is already waterproof, but I guess he was just looking for something to do. We both recommend this camera if you looking for something easy to set up and work amazing!
