Very easy to apply I did the spare tire well and surrounding trunk area of my 2020 Mustang GT. Which greatly reduced road noise.

Can't really tell about the noise reduction
I bought this to put on the inside of the cover over the motor (between the seats) of an ATV with a full cab. The material is awesome, sticks fantastic, and is easy to cut and mold. But I am not sure it did a lot for the noise level in the cab, I didn't rate that. That said, I am sure noise comes into the cab in many places. I don't fault the material for that.
