i am using this mic in a small office. it fits my need perfectly.i was looking for a mic were i could be anywhere in the room and still have the mic pick up my voice.it is a sensitive mic. it picks up all the sounds in the office, may be an issue for some.sound quality is great. no installation required on xp or windows 7.

Quality build that looks great and sound amazing. Just as good as many of the $100+ mics for half the cost. I think it even looks better and feels more premium than mics costing double.

I wanted to use these for audience comments while doing Facebook live with BlackMagic Design ATEN-Pro. The adapter works and the mic seems to work. However, the mic shuts off after a few minutes and must be activated with the button to work. It seems like when using two mics with one receiver, the mic in use shuts down the other mic.

I ordered this mic for live streams and podcasts.I wanted a mic that would provide clear low and mid frequencies to better capture my voice for live streams that would not break the bank.The kit comes with the mic which seems to be well constructed so it should last if you treat it properly. The kit also comes with the USB/USBC cable, XLR cable, Pop filter, and mic base connector/stand.The XLR cable seems to be better quality than most cables that come with mics.MAONO did a fantastic job with this mic. You can use the mic with an audio mixer since it supports XLR "which is what I use" or you can use the USB connection. If you use USB the mic has software that you can download to better customize your audio. Both options are very easy to set up and get good audio quality. The mic has a good side and back sound rejection making it great for eliminating unwanted noise. I did find the mic a little harsh for plosives when you directly face it so I would recommend having the mic at a slight angle when speaking into it to decrease plosives.I am very impressed with the sound of this mic and I think it punches well above its weight class. This mic competes with the Shure MV7 mic at a fraction of the price.The mic stand could be a little better, my mic wants to move some in the stand so I just added a little Velcro strap to help hold it up on my movable mic arm and it was fine.Overall this is a great mic for the price that provides a real value for the dollar. You will get options for how you use it and the ability to customize the sound with an audio interface or the free downloadable software to get the audio results that you desire!

The sound on this thing is excellent, almost too good. You could hear a salesman in the back of the room that wasn't at the conference table chewing on some licorice. Really good sound.
