The only thing missing is a turn off switch. Other than that this is a quality product.

Mic length is short. I know it says it but when you think about a mic you think longer. Don’t make the same mistake I did ! Useful if it’s in your hand or something. Mic works though.

I use this mic when performing with my band. It works just as well as my Shure mic at less than half the cost. I will be buying four more for the rest of the band.

Super bang for ya buck if u cant excute ya imgination thru this mic, may want to pick up a knew hobbie this is all the mic you will need specially for in home studios, 2 months with this mic and im still impressed

I will be using this mic for podcasting. I had been using a Shure SM57, which imparted a warmish tone with bass proximity effect; this mic sounds quite a bit "brighter" to the point of sounding a little metallic to my ears, not at all warm and with no proximity effect.The reason I got this mic was because I have a small mic on-off switch that clicks when I turn it on or off. The Shure SM57 is an omnidirectional, so it was picking up that damned click every time, forcing me to go in and delete all the clicks in an interview, which is a huge waste of time. This AT2020 is billed as a cardioid, and the one-page document that came with the mic shows a pretty quick dropoff of response starting at 90 degrees and dropping off more as the unwanted noise is farther behind the mic. Well, not so much. The mic switch was about 120 degrees from the front of the mic, but the switch's click was clearly audible on the recorded track. I'm not sure if this is a dealbreaker for me. The document, once you get a magnifying glass to see, shows that the dropoff behind the mic is much less pronounced for sounds in the 5-8 KHz range, or right where a click is.Finally, a word of warning: Though it doesn't say so anywhere on the Amazon site, this mic requires 48v "phantom power" to work at all. Luckily I had a Zoom H5 digital recorder that can provide the power, but the sales material should mention it so beginners don't get the mic delivered and then think it is malfunctioning. Oh, one more thing: The right-angle mic mount that comes with the mic doesn't really let the user get the mic upright; the mic hits a large bump on the part that the mic stand screws into, so you can only get it to about 88 degrees upright. They might have added 2mm to the flange from the screw-in to the mic holder.I'm going to decide tomorrow if I want to keep this mic or send it back to try the Shure PGA-58, the cardioid version of the SM-57 I know and quite like. If I send it back, I'll update this review.

Fantastic mic for the price! If you're looking for a mic with strong noise cancelling ability, you might want to consider getting a professional mic that's more expensive. However, for the price, this does the job, which is amplifying my voice!

Obviously I'm no audiophile and I'm not buying this for professional use. No $50 mic is going to sound "amazing" but for the price, this mic is great. Over Skype it sounded me, but that was Skype messing it up, it sounded great over Discord. Great mic.
