Solid speaker
Easy to connect to and to run. We used it for a small outdoor wedding ceremony and it worked fine. We’ve since used it outside multiple times and it works great.I’m giving sound quality 4 stars because sometimes the sound crackles and I’m not sure why.

Great little powerhouse.
Great little camera to add to my arsenal. I use it for several things but the most impressive use was videoing a wedding ceremony. Coupled with the Bluetooth module I set it on a pole up on the altar looking back toward the church and guests. So small it was hard to see. It was a great angle that I wouldn’t be able to get because I couldn’t have a manned camera up there. The Bluetooth connection allowed me to monitor the view and change camera angle from the back of the church. And the quality in room light was very nice.

Perfect Officiant mic for a Zoom wedding!!
This worked perfectly for my brother’s wedding! Last minute changes due to weather, COVID, and the overall horrible year, 2020 led to holding the ceremony in our backyard. We streamed the ceremony via Zoom through an iPad. I was the Officiant and I used the lavalier mic attachment and clipped the mic to my shirt and the transmitter to my pants pocket. The Zoom participants were able to hear me perfectly! Only two downsides, when receiver was plugged into iPad headphone jack, we couldn’t hear the Zoom participants (which was not a problem for us since we wanted the participants muted anyways), and it didn’t pick up the voice of someone who did a reading a few feet away from me (that was our bad, we should have tested the sound first). Easy instructions, easy charging (split charging-cable was a great addition!), and great sound quality!

Love this.
Didn't use the remote. I love how tall this is. I was able to use it for a ceremony and my daughteoves it for recording her videos. Great price and as described.

Works at the beach
We got this for our beach wedding. We went to the beach to test it before the wedding and make sure it could handle the ocean waves. It definitely can. We stood about 30 feet apart, and while the sound was more faint, it was still good enough. This can go near the back of the ceremony, so guests at the front will hear us speaking more and guests in the middle and back will hear the speaker system more.Since the Hotec sellers also said in the Q&A that a second speaker could be synced to the first, we may also buy a second for that purpose, just to give really good sound coverage.

Bought for daughter’s wedding
I’m a DJ and I was mainly looking for lavs mics. For weddings.SoI bought this for my daughter’s wedding in December. I have used this system now 3 times for testing it out.. The sound is great on the pickup. The handhelds are solid and heavy. Distance is decent for ceremony and reception. I’m impressed with this system for the price you can’t beat it.
