I'm very happy with the camera, but I assumed the mic would be activated. After getting several messages that there was no sound, I almost returned it as defective, then noticed on the inside of the box that there was a mic icon with a line through and a reference to a website where I could download software to enable it. Seems like a lot of trouble to set it up the way I expected it to be in the first place.

Nice mic
I'm only an amateur and I got this mic to do TikTok videos and streaming video.It's a fairly plug and play device. I have an iPhone and it has an extension so I can plug the mic right into my phone and record.The only thing that tripped me up at first is that the ring around the button turns blue when it's powered on and red when it's recording. (Should have been obvious, ON AIR signs are always red. And probably would have straightened that out fast if I'd read the directions.)But I plugged it right in and got to work recording and was very pleased with the result. Voice comes across clear and background noise didn't come through.I don't know what a more professional broadcaster would want, but this is perfect for my needs.

Great mic
We use this mic for our virtual church service. Sounds really good. Looks good. This was a good purchase.

Great mic
Great mic for my new podcast. My wife is using a much more expensive mic and we cannot tell the difference

Awesome Mic
Pod mic has really great quality. Sounds really good….If u don’t know what mic to buy I suggest the rode podmic for its price it’s really worth it

fantastic mic
I did not buy it on Amazon, that's why my review is not verified, but I still wanted to write it. It is the best mic I've ever bought and if you pair it with a Scarlett Focusrite interface yo have the perfect combo.great mic, go for it

Great mic
I use a mic on a daily basis and have gone through tons this ones awesome it doesn't come with an XLR or stand at least mine didn't so make sure you get those and an interface if you plan on using this on your pc other than that it's really good raw input and if you mix it well can be perfect
