A really enjoyable superhero movie!
Sylvester Stallone is just an all-around legend. His portrayal here of a washed up, cynical, and jaded superhero-in-hiding is pulled off with so much of his typical style. His meeting with and then growing relationship with Sam gives him just the opportunity he needs to pass on his years of wisdom from all of his successes AND mistakes in the hopes of the next generation doing better than the last. Of course, there is a typical trope of "good" guy vs bad guy culminating in the pinnacle fight, but there is a nice dash of creativity thrown in the mix to spice things up. An all-around great superhero movie that doesn't disappoint.WARNING: There is some use of profanity, even by Sam, so families should possibly watch this through VidAngel or something similar if younger kids are watching. Other than that, it has typical superhero movie-level violence with no other "woke" inclusions.

WILL ALWAYS BE A STALLONE FAN HENCE THE 5 STARS -
WATCHED THIS BECAUSE STALLONE WILL ALWAYS BE ONE OF MY FAV ACTORS BUT HONESTLY EVERY SINGLE OTHER ACTOR IN THIS FILM HAD HORRENDOUS ACTING... SO FAKE AND CRINGE.IF THEY HAD A BETTER SAM, VILLAIN, AND SUPPORTING VILLAIN ACTORS THIS WOULD OF BEEN MUCH BETTER BUT HONESTLY THE ACTING WAS SO BAD.STALLONE IS AND WILL ALWAYS BE GREAT.

Very well done
Without giving anything away, this isn't your average superhero story. I really enjoyed this movie. Some of the acting (Except Sly, he was great) and writing was iffy at times, but overall it was really well done. Plenty of hints throughout about how it's going to go, so it wasn't a surprise but was a fun ride nonetheless.
