Great acting, young and old...
What - a superhero movie NOT by Marvel? Stallone has always made great movies and after the last Rambo installment, we all thought he would retire. VERY glad he is still producing and acting and this movie just rises to the same level of ALL his movies. The kid is a great actor. The dialogue is excellent, they do not drag the cat and get into the action pretty much from the beginning. Typical story though, kid gets in trouble, mom gets involved, superhero rises and then happy ending... All in all, a good movie. If only he would have inserted some smart remarks, something to put a smile on your face during the movie, this would have been great...Hope he does a sequel to OVER the TOP, where the kid is now a driver and him an old man who still has his back.... There s still time.

not your average super hero movie.
it starts out slow then it picks up and gives you a one hell of a twist in the end. i can see a part two coming out for this movie.

He never disappoints. Sylvester Stallone, is The G
I loved it!!! Stallone never ever disappoints. Though it was different, it had elements of fantasy, it was still Stallone at his finest. Loved the fighting scenes in all their glory, with fire and wonderment all around. The young boy, who believed in Samaritan so much, until he found him and yes he was alive and came to save his life at the perfect moments of his life in so many ways. It's a movie about a boy's faith and the faith of an old man, who still had fire in his soul and so much more to give, compassion, defense, teaching the young about how just because you can hurt, you don't go around hurting others. The fact that we all have both good and bad and that it is the choices that we make that sets us apart from one another, in either a good, or a bad way. Lessons of life inside yet another metaphor. Leave it to Stallone to teach you about fair play, justice and keeping the faith. Love Sylvester Stallone forever. The Great Samaritan.

I didn't see this one coming! Great Movie!
Without giving a spoiler, I didn't see the twist coming, not like it came. Fricking awesome line. Had to go back and watch the scene again. Great Movie. I highly recommend.
