We originally purchased this for hair photography, but have found it to be useful for so much more. In addition to the primary use it works well for: supplemental project lighting, jigsaw puzzles, and makeup application/photography.The stand is lightweight, but sturdy, making it easy to transport and place for multiple uses.The USB plug and on-line remote are great for flexibility and on the fly adjustment.

Pros cheap small sits nicely either on the desk or on top of the monitor. setup is quick - just plug it in and go picture quality is not badCons Adjustments to picture are very limited. Most of it is where you set the camera.This is a good, simple, plug-and-play camera. For those who are looking for something simple for on-the-fly video chatting, it works perfectly.

I had the product for a couple of months as a motorcycle “dashcam”. I made of habit of reviewing the footage by opening the tray on the side and the plastic used to make the tray broke so be careful about charging and assessing the SD card slot. However, the image stabilization is quite impressive. I've tested about 3 of the top cameras here on amazon and none of the have the stabilization of this one. With the 4k30fps setting, I could identify street names and license plates easily (which is a key factor in buying a dash cam). Overall, watch out for the plastic but the image quality is sensational

Not a bad basic camera. Overpriced for what it does. Works to alert you when there is movement. On medium sensitivity it will pick up a bird and send you an alert. Will alert you when a moth flies by even at night. Picks up people without a problem. Does not provide you the option to Zoom in on a face or license plate so it has its limitations. Would suggest that you use this as basic low level security camera but have a second system other than Blink to provide you with high resolution for person identification. Because Blink will not be able to capture a face or license plate beyond 15 feet. There is a delay of about 5 to 8 seconds before it will start recording a person walking in its field of view. So you will miss capturing that much activity.Update, FIVE STARS on Blink Outdoor, my 5 camera set arrived on 12/11/2020 and installed it on 12/25/2020. But by 2/27/2021, one camera went on the "blink." It refused to operate and the app said "Off Line." I removed it and found the batteries completely dead. Replaced the batteries with fresh ones of Energizers-Ultimate-Lithium but in a few minutes the entire camera was warm to the touch. I opened the rear cover and found the fresh batteries very hot to touch. Then called Blink. The gentleman was very knowledgeable and understood the camera was defective and then informed me that a replacement would be shipped and to expect it to arrive in 3 to 5 days. I am so impressed with this company. No hassles, just great service! I highly recommend this camera and company.

Took it to a 300 yard range. Didn’t work at all. Reset it when I got home, now finding range mostly on reflective items - street signs, license plates, orange traffic cone. Not finding trees, White House siding (spell check keeps changing to WH, though I used lower case and am taking about generic house siding) people walking, or their pets. Also not working for any “follow and change distance” as claimed. Pulled out my golf rangefinder and it gave yardage for everything I spotted. Hoping they have an answer, otherwise can’t use it…unless game agrees to wear reflective Jackets.

Love this light and for the price it is an outstanding value. Will likely be ordering another soon.

I was debating on getting the 8MP over the 5MP and after buying it, I am glad I chose the 8MP. The quality is amazing, I am able to read license plates when someone parks into my driveway, the night vision is great and it's able to light up my entire area in front of the house, the field of view is nice and wide. I like the PoE so I can connect it directly to my switch and power it through ethernet. I have used it with Blue Iris, iSpyConnect, and ZoneMinder and they all work great with the camera.

Takes only less than 10 minute to set it up and get it working. Love how great the 2K video quality on day & night vision. My only thing to complain is the motion sensor is too sensitive (even with the lowest sensitivity).Notification for motion will pop up every now and then even with the smallest fly or rain drop
