Great Capabilities in a Small Package
This little jewel is great! I like the features, although programming via the device's chicklet keyboard is slow and awkward and programming via a cable and computer is really just filling in a table. Off-line programming (cable and CHIRP software) requires careful setup but is easy once you're connected. Still figuring out some of the details, but it is easy to download and upload sets of frequencies from the device for areas that you might want to monitor. I use the BaoFeng's scan function to listen in on local NOAA weather and emergency channels.
