Great Quality, Sound and Look Amazing
Had these since February 23, 2019I spent a whole day looking through many different headsets. It was between this, cloud II and corsair hs70. I wanted to use these for gaming, and for use on the bus to school. Which the hs70 couldn't do, but I also wanted them to look minimal. These looked great for that. The LEDs look great when gaming. You can customize the colors to your liking and make them fade between colors with each ear being seperate. Also they will keep the LED settings on PC and work on ps4. It isn't on when plugged in with the aux so you can use on your phone without being too flashy in public.Great gaming audio, after messing with the equalizer there was enough oomph in the bass but still being able to hear all the sounds, the 7.1 worked great and really enhanced the sound. The usb chat mixer works on ps4 just the same as on PC. The audio settings also carried over to the PS4.The mic is pretty good. It picks up lots of sound so the noise cancelling isn't the best but it is there. It sounds crisp and natural, but you can hear some compression, again not bad tho. There is a mute toggle as well as a red led on the mic to tell you when you're muted so you don't have a conversation with no one. The mic is retractable reducing the gamer look in public. These are super comfortable! Pretty light weight and the snowboad goggle strap with the soft ear cups make wearing these for long sessions very comfortable. I wasn't sure about the strap at first, but I love it. It looks good and stays on great without popping your head. The only thing I wish is it had a softer spot for glasses arms because after a few hours you start to feel it.Seems mostly strong, the frame is nice and tough durable plastic, however the joints scare me. The joints that arotste are strong but the joint attaching the ear muffs to the frame seems kind of weak so I'm being careful with them. There is a metal rod in it so I think it's strong but they have a little bit of wiggle to them.Overall with my short time with the headset I'm in love with it, they look fantastic, are very comfortable, the mic is good, and they sound great!

Great Budget Headphones
These are great budget headphones for the money. They have a stable bluetooth connection that does not get choppy, the sound is good enough for the money, the battery life is great, and they are very comfortable.Regarding the bluetooth connection, the stability is good. Whether the phone is in my left pocket, right pocket, or back pocket, these maintain a steady connection (Samsung Galaxy S21). Also, when wearing a smart watch on my left wrist, I do get some drop-outs in music while running or exercising (Samsung Galaxy Watch 4), however I would say its infrequent (once every 5-10 minutes). With my left arm completely at my side while walking, the audio periodically cuts. I only lose full reception when I put my left arm/watch behind my back to stretch, because the watch has a weaker transmitter than the phone (to be expected).I have used many bluetooth headphones that have great reception from afar (up to 20-30 feet), but cannot receive a signal if there's any obstacle in the way (like your chest, arm, or even your head). Most bluetooth headphones have the receiver on the right earbud, so if you carry the phone or watch on your left side, the music or phone call is constantly cutting in and out. If you've experienced this, you'll know it's super frustrating. I'm not sure how JLabs accomplished it, but these are stable. Also a note on earbud style headphones that depend on a seal in your ear for sound quality; whenever you walk, run, or jump, you'll literally hear slight rubbing with motion. There's no way around it. If you form a better seal, you'll get better audio quality, but more rubbing sound with activity. If you use a smaller tip to loosen the seal, you'll get worst audio quality, and less of that rubbing sound with activity. That's the compromise. If this bothers you, go for over the ear headphones, or in ear headphones that don't need the seal, like the traditional Apple Airpods.Otherwise, for $30, the audio quality and build quality is pretty good, but won't rival $100 - $200 headphones. Hope this helps!

Bose never lets me down! Fantastic wireless buds
I didn't even realize these were brand new when I ordered them. I just needed new earbuds for working out, and Bose is my go-to audio brand, because every other brand I try will almost always have something I can't stand about it.I first want to point out that I come from a very old pair of wired Bose earbuds that were in such bad shape that the wires were exposed just below the buds -- not good when you're sweating during a workout while wearing them! So I went shopping... I first found the previous model of true wireless Bose buds -- the ones with the left bud cutting out issue. A quick tour of the Bose website led me to these instead.Unboxing was nice. Premium packaging for a premium product. Buds had about 60% charge upon unboxing -- good enough to test them out.Biggest setup gripe: needing an app that requires location privileges and an account to use them. I generally prefer not to give away personal data just to use an expensive product. Bose, if you're reading this -- this is a serious issue for me, and I'd greatly appreciate not needing that account to use a product I paid $180 for.Calls: If you want to know how calls sound, don't look at me. I don't do calls on headphones, and it's not a feature I care about. I bought these specifically for music playback.Audio: Typical Bose quality audio. Slightly less impressive than my old wired Bose buds, but that's to be expected. Bluetooth isn't the best standard for true high quality audio. But these have just enough bass (not punchy, so if you like heavy bass, you probably won't like these), to not overwhelm everything else. Very balanced sound, overall.Connectivity: Just like my old Bose BT speaker, these connect fast and after several hours of continuous music playback, not a single blip or drop. Just perfect performance.Controls: I love the auto music pause when I pull the right bud out of my ear. That's awesome. I almost wish it worked with both, as I tend to pull the left out more often than the right. I also love the double tap customizable action. I set it to check the battery level for now. It's a nice added feature.Fit: Some people love the way Bose buds fit, others hate it. I'm in the love-it camp. I've been in love with it since my old wired buds became the only headphones I'd ever use. They sit in just the right place to give awesome sound without putting ridiculous pressure on your ear canal, while simultaneously becoming almost impossible to actually feel once in. If you can't keep them in your ears, you're wearing the wrong size of the 3 silicone parts (or you need one bigger or smaller than what they make, which is definitely possible). For the record, I use the smallest of the 3. When I put these in, I push them in relatively straight and then twist to lock them in place, tucking the silicone part under my ear fold last. Since I've worn the Bose style for a long time, it's something that's natural to me. If you're new to it, it might take some getting used to. If all you know are the kind that shove into your ear canal, these will feel like they're going to fall out. They won't!The only thing I wish is for the charging case to support wireless charging. But I can't complain about USB-C.I've only used these for a few hours so far, but they went through 2 workouts plus some actual work (I'm a jewelry artisan, and I actually wore these at my workbench while running my flex shaft, soldering, and other tasks. It's a joy to not need to worry about wires!). I will update this review if anything changes, but based on my first 3-4 hours of use, they're 5 stars. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

Can't beat the price for the quality
I have had these ear buds for almost two years now. I do construction and have defiput them through the ringer, from dropping them in water to dirt and dust. The sound is great for what you are paying for and having wireless capability is priceless. The touch parts can be a little sensitive so read the user manual before putting them to work.I use them independently in one ear at a time so I can hear the outside world while I listen, make calls, answer calls, change music, tell (Google/Siri etc) to do different things all without having to use my hands.Pod charge time is quick, earbud battery length depends on usage where I get an average 6-7 hours of use before having to recharge and swap buds.I would NOT recommend wearing them in the shower or submerged in water though.Forgot to take them out, took a shower and right away they were garbled and static connection. After drying out for some time that earbud came back to normal.Over time I have also noticed that the pod doesn't hold as much charge or loses capacity faster than when they were brand new.A nother note is that sometimes the buds loose connection to Bluetooth on my phone or device for no reason, then reconnect a moment later. Not sure if this is a technical issue or just being used daily for two years. While driving I use them to talk on the phone 99% of the time and they do not cancel out road noise or other pollution as well as claimed and those listening hear it all over me where I have to really speak up so they can hear me.Overall I do like them other than the small issues I mentioned, but like I said, for the price you can't beat the quality. Sure there are more expensive brands out there that offer more capable buds, but if you are on a budget, these buds will definitely work well for you.

Works as Intended
Got the pair of Razer Kraken 2019 Black while it was on sale for around $60 bucks to replace my old pair of Razer Carcharias from back in 2010 and it is definitely a large step up over those pair. It works as intended and I believe the pricing is fair for what it is suppose to do. Always appreciated the non-RGB clean/stealth look the black pair provides and it looks great paired with my razer orochi and razer arctosa (black ver.). Haven't had any problems with the audio quality besides a mediocre bass but the added support of the 7.1 Surround Sound software from Razer works fantastic and makes up for that. You will need to register the product onto your RazerID in order to receive an activation code for the 7.1 Surround Sound software from Razer. Comfort is great and way better than I had thought especially with the cooling gel cushion feature that the ear pads provide but it doesn't necessarily nullify all the heat, it does still get warm from hours on end of usage but that's unavoidable and expected from wearing these sort of gaming headset. Mic works great and is actually way better than I had imagined. No complaints overall besides the sub par bass and maybe some connective issues that is easily resolved by either resetting your PC or replugging the audio jack a few times. I would test out if the headset is properly connected by listening to a few sound tests whenever I encountered this issue but that has only happened once. Shouldn't be a deterring factor honestly.Overall, I really do enjoy these headset quite a bit and it works as it is suppose to. It's not necessarily the best music listening headphones and it is not the worst but it gets the job done. It's definitely well worth it if you you ever get a chance to see the headset on sale but regardless it's a fairly priced product at $80. But if you are a fan of razer products and understand the ecosystem such as using razer synapse and/or just like how it looks, I would definitely grab a pair!

A surprisingly nice alternative to earbuds
I was looking for something that would let me listen to music when I'm outside at work, but didn't block out my hearing completely either. I decided to give this a shot and after having it for well over a year, can say it was certainly worth it.Now, are you going to get the ultimate high end sound out of these that you'd expect out of a home theater or the real one? To be honest, no. But the bass within the unit makes a huge difference, so you're not getting a plain old radio quality out of it either. The sound quality is solid overall, very solid, but how good your music will sound really depends on a number of other factors: whether you're indoors or outdoors, if you're wearing an open shirt or a hoodie, and the overall volume, sound quality and compression of whatever you're listening to. So if something wasn't mixed well or you're listening to something on Youtube at full volume, you'll notice. The battery certainly lasts and I haven't noticed any ridiculously long charge times, even after having it for over a year. I haven't had any bluetooth issues either, but you don't want to walk too far away before it loses the connection. Not that I measured it, but it'd be like 30 or 40 feet? Every now and then I'll get lag even with my phone on me, but it doesn't happen often and possibly caused by the phone itself. There's not much I can really complain about. Solid sound all things considered, good battery life and connectivity, I can still listen to music and hear what's around me as long as it's not all the way up, and I still have to turn it down to -understand- what they're saying. Now sometimes you can listen at a low volume and people nearby won't notice, and sometimes they can hear everything. It's easy to recommend. It just takes a while to get used to turning your head and not having the sound go with it.

Sub par noise cancelling and sound quality, but go
The sound quality and noise cancelling compared to my usual Airpods Pro, are significantly of lesser quality. Loud noises (metal hitting metal, air coming out of an air compressor, nail guns firing, anything I normally encounter while at work) tend to result in static sound coming from the buds, and are extremely annoying. The audio has a slight delay from video being played on my phone, which is annoying considering I'm using a Samsung phone with Samsung earbuds, and my Airpods Pro don't have any such audio delay. The buds are comfortable while being worn, and pretty durable. After using them for nearly two months, I have dropped them in metal shavings and oil, and haven't had any issues so far. They don't fall out of my ears when I'm tossing and turning while sleeping. Phone calls while on the floor at work tend to be painless, and I haven't had anyone complain about audio quality while on the other end. Battery life is pretty good, I usually can go about 4-6 hours without having to put them in the case. I sometimes wake up in the morning after wearing them and they still are playing music that I put on when I went to bed 7 hours before. The case holds maybe 2-3 full charges, which is good enough to only charge them once every two days, give or take.Overall, I'd probably rate them 3.5 stars of 5, but will raise it to 4, based partly on being able to get them at a reduced price during Prime Day. I'd still probably pick Airpods Pro over these, and still usually bring them both to work. If you had choose just one, I'd go with the Airpods, even though they're more expensive. Even if you don't own an iPhone, they work pretty much the same overall.

Perfect for work
I needed some earbuds for work so I bought these. I needed to wear just one bud so I would be able to hear people talking to me and other alerts. These buds work very well with my iPhone 13 mini.Usage: I get in the car in the morning and the phone pairs to the car's audio system. When I get to work, I park the car, reach into my bag and take out either the left or the right bud, and put it in my ear. It turns on and connects immediately, with audible notifications, and the music automatically switches from the car to the bud without any button pushes. Then I just turn off the car and go. I wear the right bud on MWF, and the left one on T,Th,Sat. It is easy to pause the music with a single sharp tap to the outside of the bud. Taps work through latex gloves but not through fabric mittens (unless they have conductive material I imagine). The buds have other touch controls, but I never use them because the Apple Watch serves as a remote for the phone's music app. I am able to make phone calls with either bud, so each one has a mic. The iPhone automatically defaults to use the buds for calls, so I can easily receive calls by answering and hanging up using my watch or the phone itself, although there are controls that will allow one to answer and hang up using taps on the buds (you might need to be wearing both buds for this type of control). I can also use talk to text on the watch or the phone. The music automatically resumes when the mic is no longer being used. I can also summon Siri using "Hey Siri." The buds are a tiny bit clumsy when handling because they slip out of your fingertips a little, so be careful not to drop them. The case is nice and slim and fits well in a pocket. It's hard to tell which one is the right bud and which one is the left bud, but there is a small letter on each one. They have to be placed into the case in their appropriate positions for charging.Battery: The battery will not make it through eight hours of continuous play, but the case charges the bud quickly and you can get a few more hours after only a 15-minute charge. I charge the case once a week, which takes several hours. The case also has an indicator that tells you the approximate battery life remaining on the case. Each bud shows a red indicator light when it is taken out of the case if it is not fully charged, and shows a blue indicator light if it is fully charged. There is no indicator that tells you the percentage of charge from what I have experienced. When the battery gets low, a voice comes on to remind you, and it is very persistent, even when you pause the music. So you really have to put the bud back in the case.Fit: I was amazed at how well these fit. I am 5'6" and I have a small head, so I thought my ears would be too small. The buds come with size adjustment inserts, but I tried them and they didn't improve the fit. The inserts that came pre-installed worked fine. They stay in place with moderate amounts of motion; however, I would hesitate to use them for exercise or sports because they feel comfortable but rather loose compared to my running buds. My running buds also have a rubber flap that helps keep them in place, and these buds don't have anything like that. I had to run across the street with these buds and they didn't fall out, so maybe they would be OK to take jogging. So far they have not fallen out at work. I don't feel any discomfort after wearing them for a 10-hour shift.Sound: I don't know much about sound quality relative to the big name brands, and I don't know much about noise cancellation, but I have used buds with terrible sound so I know that I would have returned these if I didn't like the quality. I listen to a lot of music and I also write songs on an electronic piano keyboard using a computer workstation and I know what music should sound like, and I feel that these supply a rich, balanced sound and good volume level with very little grain or background noise. I know that if I wear both buds and turn the volume up, I will be in my own little world.Overall these buds are a great value for the price and I am looking forward to enjoying my music library at work for as long as I can.
