Everything needed to begin using your radio comes in the box, i would only suggest buying a better antenna.

Good radio
This works great. Plenty loud, sounds good (not great) but good enough.I love how it runs off the Dewalt batteries and love how it has a usb port to charge my phone.I would recommend

Great sound
This is a good small radio. We are very happy with this radio. We are disappointed we cannot have the remote speaker work directly.
