I am just getting started with this type of Camera. Have wanted a go pro for 3 years but wanted to make sure it was worth the cost and I would use it. I have had this camera for 3 weeks and still have not mounted it to my bike. I did get it working and it seems great. Either way 3 weeks in and I spent a whole lot less for a camera that seems like a great value. Hope a start actually using it.

I ordered the camera for security purposes, but had difficulty setting it up! Danny Phillip in the tech department spent a good time helping me solve the problem which was basically due to my own issues, nothing to do with the camera. I have several of these Amcrest Pro HD camera's, some over a year, and they all work fantastic. I appreciate that they have a knowledgable tech department and Danny Phillips is amazing!!!

Great compact camera. It does a good job and is only loud enough to catch the attention of certain animals. I found it to take great videos during the day and night.My only knock is that my camera stopped working after a few months. The battery life started getting shorter and shorter until it finally stopped working. Customer service was extremely good and a replacement camera is in the mail.I definitely recommend giving it a shot.

I got a new computer and the camera would not work, the picture was oversized and useless. I called Amcrest at their contact telephone number and talked to Rachel Willis. She was just super and had the camera working properly in just a few minutes. She also explained to me how she did it so I can get another computer working properly. The camera is great, totally reliable, and Rachel's help was the best.

I bought this camera to replace a defective ReviewXP that the other vendor refused to support. I found it very easy to configure and operate once I figured out the the power button is used to navigate the menus. The image stabilization is also better than my previous camera. I'm looking forward to see how it performs in the field as I rise my horse and snorkel in the ocean. All the extras that come with the camera are a nice bonus.

I like this camera, but setup was troublesome at first. I tried connecting P2P and it wouldn't work. I tried connecting directly on my network, using the included power adapter, and it wouldn't work. I tried connecting it through my Amcrest NVR on a PoE port, and still didn't work. The camera powered on and did its little spin start up move, and then it sat idle. The NVR gave it an IP address, but it was not able to actually connect or view the camera feed.Finally, after unplugging and replugging the camera back in, I was able to connect it, after manually adding it to the NVR and refreshing a few times. I have no idea why the camera was fighting during setup, but it's working great now.The image quality appears to be excellent. The camera adjusts quickly to changes in lighting, and it's responsive when using the PTZ functions. I'm also happy to see that it supports microSD cards up to 128GB, as that has been an issue for me with other security camera devices that wouldn't go above 32GB. One thing to be aware of when selecting a location to mount the camera is that the minimum focus distance is a little bit on the high side when zoomed in at all. This is somewhat to be expected, but you should keep it in mind if you plan on putting it over a door or something and want to be able to see faces.Another thing to consider is that the PTZ motor is not silent. If people are close enough, they will certainly hear it moving in a quiet area. Besides that, the camera itself is HUGE. I was not expecting it to be quite this big. It's at least twice the size of my other security cameras, and it's a bit heavy. Which is great if you need to throw it at an intruder.Overall, it's a great security camera and I'm happy with the purchase.

I’ve been wanting a solar powered camera for years and was unsure. The camera and components were packaged neatly to prevent damage. Setup was very easy with detailed instructions. The app was how I set it up, it walked me through step by step. Video/ picture quality is absolutely amazing. I love the easy of use and the ability to tilt and rotate with my phone. If you are unsure about which camera to purchase… this is the one.

Due to the dangerous nature of cycling I have installed this camera on the back of my bicycle so that I can have video evidence should anything happen. The video is sharp and smooth, audio capture is very good, as it picks up music from the speakers mounted on the top tube. The many accessories that came with it allowed me to mount both the camera, speaker on the toptube, and a blinking light. You cannot go wrong with this camera.
