Great radio, easy to use and easy to program
I bought this handy talkie to get started listening to the amateur radio channels while I prepare for my license exam. I downloaded the CHIRP software and programmed it with many of our local channels and repeaters. This has been a great inspiration for me to move forward with my exam so I can press the “talk“ button!

I enjoy it so much I'm getting 2 more
I love the V50 Elite I've used it at the kart trackracing swimming with it underwater is awesome, and I love the remote that comes with it makes it easier to stop and start, or take pics if and when I choose. Getting 2 more for my teenage boys in sport. I have yet to find anything negative about this product. Even the price was good and it arrived in 4 days of order

I like it so much, I'm going to buy 2
Super compact & convenient, works just like promised, and SUPER affordable compared to the competition. I'm going to buy a 2nd one so I can have more footage when scuba diving (from my buddy). Very happy that it is waterproof rated deep enough to handle all my dives. (I max at 100ft normally, but it's hard to find a camera rated to that depth). Nice to have so many accessories included too! I'm thrilled.

I love it, but I worry about the battery life whil
I love the GoPro HERO5 Black. It is my first GoPro, so I am a little less picky about the specifications for it. The other reviewers do a good job of laying it out, but I did want to mention that it has a battery life of about 1hr and 30 minutes. As I have no experience with cameras this was a surprise to me. So I recommend buying a second battery if you like to shoot long videos without having to upload the large files onto a computer before you can do more. The wireless app feature on the phone is super neat as well. I still gave it five stars because this size of battery may be normal as I didn't see any other reviewers mention it.

Good, I don't surf or anything but I wouldnt try with this. If your planning on surfing or skiing or something but the real stuff. But for walking, bike riding, and doing light parkour it's good.

Good, but a few things I wish I knew beforehand
I received a GoPro HERO5 Black camera as a gift, and was utterly thrilled by the surprise. After all, I had heard that the HERO5 Black was waterproof, voice controlled, lightweight, easy to use, and of course could shoot UHD 4K video. I began to use my camera and was very impressed by certain aspects of it. I was also, however, disappointed by other aspects of it. Here's the breakdown:Good:* It really does shoot great video. UHD 4K is crystal clear.* FOV options are good. Wide FOV is great, Super Wide is huge. I previously owned a Contour HD action camera, and the FOV was like looking through a straw. So the HERO5 Black was an amazing improvement.* Image stabilization helps create smooth footage.* It is waterproof, fairly lightweight, voice controlled, and has a screen to easily select settings and align the view of the camera with the subject.* I really like the QuikCapture feature. When the camera is off, simply press the record button and it will power on and start recording video. Press the button again and it will stop recording, save the footage, and power off.Bad:* Battery life is not good. I quickly purchased spare batteries to take with me on longer activities. Beware of third-party batteries though, they often won't work with the camera because of the firmware, even if they say they are compatible. You'll have to buy GoPro's overpriced ones.* The screen and I have a love/hate relationship. Yes, it is good for seeing what the camera is pointing at and viewing what settings it's recording on, but it is so frustrating to use. It doesn't act like your phone's touch screen. You have to swipe and tap very deliberately and slowly to get it to register. I gets on my nerves often.* Image stabilization only works for frame rates at or below 60 fps. I wish they would mention that upfront.* I don't know if I just got a lemon, but the doors on the camera are very hard to open and close.* This isn't particularly the camera's fault, but GoPro's apps (Capture, Quik, Quik for Desktop) are hard to use and crash often. I was editing a two minute segment of 1080p video and Quik for Desktop crashed 4 times.* The 3-mic system that selects the best audio is kind of sketchy. I could hear exactly where it shifted in the footage and never was it pleasing to the ear. Just really awkward.I plan on editing my review the more I use my camera. So far I've taken it mountain biking and longboarding. Decent results from both activities. I would still recommend this camera to a friend, but there were just a few things I wish I was prepared for before I bought it.

I contacted the seller. they provide great support. I use this camera when driving. I drive virtually everyday.I was able to set the date and time. I would purchase again. The batteries last about two hours. There are two batteries. It also has a cable to plug into a USB port. My rating is now a 5 stars. Coupled with a head harness. It works great to protect against bad cops and bad drivers. Not all drivers and cops are bad. Its better to be proactive then reactive. A 32 gig card lasts about 4 hours. I am impressed with the camera.
