I purchased this 5 Pack of drives knowing they were probably going to be slow. But in my particular instance, speed was not a major concern. I purchased them strictly as a cheap drive on which to pass along copies of PDF documents to others (not expecting the drive to be returned in most instances).I did, however, run Benchmarks to determine the speed. Sequential Read Speed turned out to be 20.6 MB/s, which is about all one can expect from a USB 2.0 Drive. Sequential Write Speed, though, came in at a dismal 4.35 MB/s (a decade-old Sandisk USB 2.0 drive will typically benchmark at about 22 MB/s Write Speed).This drive is OK for simply storing documents and using it as a cheap "give-away" drive to pass documents/photos/etc. on to others. But this drive would be unsuitable for (say) storing and watching Video content.Still, for $3 Bucks a drive, what more can one expect? The drives do the job for which I purchased them (and they're attractive to boot). Considering the $3 each price, I grant them a 4 Star rating for what they are.

Its my far the highest storage for external hard drive you can buy. If you want to download the files onto this drive just drag and drop. No need to install the driver. I have 2 other wd, so I just want to back my files manually. The drive comes with 4.20 TB FREE out of 5TB space.

This 5 TB hard drive comes with a USB-C cable on both ends. I pulled it out of the box, plugged it into my MacBook Pro (2019) running Monterey, formatted it, and ran a Time Machine Backup. The drive does not make any noise. It is smooth as can be. I backed up 1.8 TB in just under 3 hours. I am very pleased with the hard drive and happy to not worry about running out of room on my back up drive anymore.

Love this little hard drive! Incredible thin and portable, wonderful on the go little drive that can easily fit anywhere. Great price and good value for what it is. Can't say much about tech support, as I haven't had the need to talk to them at all.

Let me start off by saying that this flash drive is epic for it's price point. It's constructed just as well as my 16GB drive and has the same encryption option available also -- but.. This drive can be a real pain to register on Win 7. When I first plugged it in the drive lit up, but windows didn't recognize it as an external drive. I'm no novice to USB lag time here though -- I gave it a good 5 minutes before I disconnected it, then a minute to let Windows figure out what's going on before replugging it. After a couple of times plugging and unplugging the drive I got it to finally register and it readily accepted my copied files. Upon taking it off of my USB port and reconnecting a couple more times, it registered again and showed files stored on the drive.In comparison though, I've never had this issue with a Kingston drive, but at this price point you can't argue really. It does exactly what it says it does. The only gripe I really have is that flash memory is still FAT32, but this is in no way SanDisk's fault. Just be warned that it can't store any files larger than 4GB, bear that in mind before ordering this as a backup solution for things like ISO files.This drive has it's flaws, but is a solid investment into a large jump drive. For most applications it will perform great, and help you keep your files on you at all times.

Quick shipping with good packaging. What can I say? It is a basic drive for a good price that works.

Great little drive. I am using it as an external drive, but not as a backup drive. I have a NAS for that purpose. The drive is fast, but I was hoping for it to be faster. I guess that is the nature of the beast. It's a great drive for photographers to use for storage.
