Alot of potential but let down
I bought this version of this particular radio because btech upgrades a typical baofeng for better recieve and better selectivity. Unfortunatly...something was wrong internally with the connections on the antenna and would not recieve at all unless the antenna was resting a certian way while being held. I was able to transmit but not receive. I was testing this unit for 2 meter simplex contacts at 1800 ft elevation. And while the radio was getting out just great. I only knew it was working because i had my mobile unit tuned to the same frequency while i was testing the unit. Now on a positive note. On 5 watts at that elevation i did transmit over 35 miles confirmed with 3 amatuer operators. But when the radio would not receive even with the squelch completely open i knew that it was a defective radio. I do believe that you get what you pay for. I cant say i was completely dissatisfied because i was making contacts over 35 miles out on 5 watts. But i wont risk buying another unit that could be defective again. Not a bad radio at all. But buy at your own risk. Just keep in mind that amazon has a great return policy so the only real risk would be wasting time for something that may or may not work. I will say....if it works when ypu get it....you wont be dissapointed with performance. 3 stars because of overall experience.

Top option for a round smartwatch today
This is my daily watch now -- consider this a three -month long-term review.tldr I like it a lot, for being a functional and stylish enough round watch, that has access to the Google store (meaning a huge selection of watch faces!)Although built off Google's os, the software tweaks by Mobvoi and fast hardware combined equal a much smoother, lag-free experience. Much improved from my experiences w plain Jane Wear OS on previous tech (including the previous iteration of this guy, the C2) which always were a bit laggy.Speaking of the back to back comparison, the two watches are roughly the same size, diameter -wise, but I was surprised to see how much thicker the c3 is, presumably given an the new tech they cram beneath it.Health readings, steps, all related health telemetry works perfectly fine to the extent that I use it (minimal, aside from step count). It does pick up an O2 oxygen reading better than any other wearable I've tried, but this is still the most difficult thing to measure accurately, I'd guess, from the wrist. The screen is big and great and bright enough for any amount of daylight--i err between the dimmest setting for inside to the 2nd dimmest outside (1-5 iirc). Quite nice screen, esp since I usually do 'always screen on' with the attached watchface..Battery life is acceptable, but that's still a low bar for smart watches. I've had some of the smaller devices with longer battery life (measured in weeks not days or, god forbid, hours) and it's really great to be confident ditching the charger on short multi-day trips. This is not necessarily THAT watch. (Mine in that case is the Ticwatch GTH pro with an honest week-long life on one charge, used judiciously.)The C3 improves on the C2 in battery length, but I ended up turning always screen on off --if worn to bed, I didn't find a habit that reliably allowed me to charge it enough to keep it charged. Losing battle charging in the morning. This was with afaik all the settings 'ON'. (!)Currently, I'm simply not wearing it to bed often-again, rather thick!- so it has time to charge overnight. That's my solution. If you're efficient with battery use, this can go 3-4 days--but you'd need to be planning from jump street.Overall, it's a great watch! And sometimes wearables don't even meet the standard of crappy watch... The device is snappy in menus/responding to commands it looks great, like a time piece, and uses a regular watch strap (meaning I have a ton already compatible--10mm iirc). The screen is great but not whack -your-socks-off colorful and vibrant. It's highly legible and a high enough resolution to where there's no visible pixels. For the price, it's a phenomenal watch

Excellent ambient mode, excellent sound after good
I got these specifically because I need a good ambient mode for playing or listening to things, but also need low latency for gaming while remaining wireless. This fits all those need.Pros+ Comfy and good fit. Remain comfy for long wearing time.+ Excellent noise canceling and very, very good ambient mode+ When paired to BT and PC, can seamlessly play both sources overlapping.+ Sound quality very good. Full mids, crisp highs, not overwhelming bass.+ Mic movement to mute/unmute works great+ Spatial sound seems to work well. In specifically MW 2019 on PC, can hear locations of steps and fire clearly and cleanly. Might be the newness effect, but it does feel much better than my previous cheap headphones.Cons- Definitely look goofy/big. Like an air traffic controller. Probably not great to wear in public as headphones.- Software still iffy. EQ control doesn't seem to do anything, but everything else does.- Expensive. I had very specific needs and didn't really see anything that fit them all. For those without all those needs, cheaper options may be better.OverallVery pleased. For my needs, nothing ticks all of the boxes as well as this does. It's a great combination of "good headphones" and "good gaming headset", which often don't have as much overlap. I was literally about to buy the Sony XM5s until I saw this announcement. At $100 cheaper than those, with what appears to be nearly equal audio performance (maybe not quite as good bass and definitely not as professional looking) and the dedicated high speed wireless USB connection (so I don't have to rely on lag BT or tethered 3.5mm cord) it seemed like a great deal. Love them.UPDATE a few days later: The INZONE Hub software EQ flat out does not work, which is why I got mediocre bass (but still amazing mids and highs). The default flat EQ just feels lifeless in the bass. On, PC, I found and am using a free third party EQ app (Equalizer APO Peace). Now, these sound INSANELY GOOD. Smooth crisp mids and highs remain, but now has the thick and punchy life in the lows as well. It's clean and smooth, so long as you EQ reasonably. I used one of the headphone presets and tweaked accordingly. Cranking the 80-120hz range too much CAN start distorting and muffling vocals and other mids, but it has definitely come alive with some good EQ. I hope the first party software gets fixed soon.

Checked off all my boxes and more
Tried out 4 different watches before settling on this one and glad it did! Spent too many hours researching and reading reviews lol. Have had this watch on my wrist now for just over a week and loving it. Checked all my boxes and more. Has a beautiful easy to read screen, even outdoors. Battery life is great. Started wearing it at 80% charge and a week later with a lot of use (including running with gps) it still has 32%. Way better than having to recharge an Apple Watch every day. Has a great amount of faces that look great and provide easy to read info. Paired super fast and easy with my iPhone. Found the Zepp app very friendly and easy to use and it provides more info than you will know what to do with! I love the PAI feature which is an automatic measure (physical activity indicator) of how much fitness you are getting in. I love that this basically sets a goal for you and is an easy way to keep track of how you are doing!. I upgraded the strap (not that there was anything with the plastic one) to a stainless one for 11.99 and it looks great and very expensive. Super light weight. Waterproof. Has built in GPS so no need to bring your phone on a run. Will notify you of text, calls etc which you can configure in the app. But you can't respond, at least not with an iPhone. Has built in Alexa. Have been using it at the gym with my personal trainer. I like that when you increase the intensity of your workout it automatically starts tracking your heart rate much more frequently than in every day usage. (this saves a lot on battery but gives it to you when you the heart rate most when you need it). Has an altimeter which seems accurate which I will put to good use when hiking in the Colorado Rockies where I live. A tons of other features, 7 day weather outlook, calendar, to do list, Heck the watch even tells you if this is a good day to get your car washed! lol. Anyways reviewing and purchasing a smart watch is a bit subjective of course. Sort of like trying to review coffee. A lot depends on your goals and personal preference. But for me this was a great option. Would be nice if it came with an owners manual (there is one available I found online) but I found it intuitive to use anyways after playing around with it for a while. One last thing is that the screen is slightly smaller than some of the other options out there (the GTR3 pro is a little larger) which suits me as well since I have somewhat smaller wrists. In my opinion you can't go wrong with this watch if these are the kind of features that you are looking for.

Great watch for the price
So I waited to write this review until I had the watch a good while to try out. I caught it on sale for half off so decided to take the leap and buy it. It does everything but answer calls and texts. You get notifications of the calls, can decline them. You get the notifications of messages and can read them. It is accurate of sleep cycles even if I take a nap during the day. The heart rate is pretty accurate as well. I have a tiny wrist so finding watches to fit snug on me is hard but this one does. I love how it has the training/workout mode to keep track. Downfalls it does not always catch when I am actually walking and can be a pain to get the watch to light up. The watch face is customizable which I love. The screen goes between being very sensitive and not sensitive enough. For the price I got the watch for it is doable for me to deal with. I love the soft green color vs the pink color I kept finding for women. It was a nice change and it goes with a lot. The watch face is not overly too big imo and I have a legit small frame and wrist. I find it more comfortable wearing it upside down than upwards especially for a more accurate heart rate and oxygen level reading. I can also set alarms on it or it will allow my alarms on my phone to go through either way. It has a seditiary reminder though it is not accurate. It just goes off every hour on the hour. Even if you were just moving literally 1 min ago it will still go off. It doesn't play music through the watch only controls the play/pause and volume of it for your phone which plays the music. Bonus that I adore, it Bluetooths to your phone which then syncs to the app when the app is opened but it also allows your phone to still Bluetooth to your car/speakers without disconnecting the watch!!!! Which is so nice!!!! The app does require location to work. The battery life is amazing on the watch depending on the brightness level you set and the rise to wake motion if you turn it on. I keep mine at 20 to 40% brightness and the watch will last days. I just choose to charge it when I bathe which it is usually on 97 to 81% after 15 to 20 hours which is not bad. My Phone battery drains faster than the watch. Bad thing is though it has been hard to find a screen protector for the watch that fits. Overall, I would buy this watch again and probably will if it goes half off again for 30$ for my daughter. If needing to talk/text through your watch is important buy the more expensive ones. If not then definitely purchase this watch. The pros so far outweigh the very few cons they have which is not much at all. Just depends on what matters the most to you.

For the price, pretty decent headset
First off, Amazon sent the wrong color. Instead of the white/green, got the blue/pink. Sure, I could return easily, but the hassle of returning and waiting is just not worth it to me. I'm going to be wearing them and not looking at them, so whatever. The color is ugly as sin.For the rock bottom price I paid, $30, these are AMAZING. The headphones are surprisingly light. The ear cups are like really light foam and seem breathable. Very comfortable. I consider myself of the big head clan and these, extended all the way out, fit just right. The compression on my noggin is not much at all. The sound is really decent for this price. The bass isn't overwhelming, don't expect Beats, and the highs seem tempered and not shrill. The mids are slightly pushed down. I can crank these and don't feel the sound breaking apart. Sound separation is good too. It stays pretty punchy and tight.I would completely recommend these to anyone. The Bluetooth and 2.4Ghz work perfect. These could serve easily as a backup to a more expensive headset or as throwaways if you are rough on your gear. They're not compact and I wouldn't throw them in a bag. I could see these snapping or cracking. So be careful. But for the price, you could always buy another.UPDATE:I noticed that the headphones were disconnecting when using the 2.4ghz USB fob, which was plugged directly into the front of the computer. I disconnected it from that USB port and am using the one in the back of the monitor. After a three hour Crysis session, I've yet to disconnect. I don't know if it's because, the computer is sending out a signal that is interfering with the fob or if it's closer to the wireless router. Moving it behind the monitor seems to be working great.UPDATE (12/28):Just wanted to update this review. Still liking this headset. It's great. A couple of things I wanted to share. Switching back and forth between 2.4GHz and Bluetooth is a cinch, just hold the mute button. This is nice because I like to connect to my PC at 2.4GHz with the fob, but when I want to make a call, I just switch over to Bluetooth. I just made a quick call and it sounded very clear, and the person on the other end was able to hear me completely fine. Again, $30 for this headset? Killer deal. I just wish they made an all black one. The color is so Barbie. Ha!

Very good toy for the current price
Off-the-bat I should say that I have just un-boxed it and it seems to work great, no smoking battery box, the screen works, the lights work, the straps haven't broken. This is not a proper review because I got it for a nephew's birthday coming up and he won't get it for a few days. After reading all the reviews I decided I had to take it out and make sure it works and not disappoint him with a non-functioning gift. I also figured that after reading about the problems some have had that I now had the knowledge to be the best choice for removing it without breaking anything. I now only hope I am not vilified by the parents for giving such a battery-hungry gift. Hey, at least it will be a break from all the Lego-mania.The following information is primarily a re-post of a response I made to an earlier post so that the information is more likely to be seen. After reading all the reviews, I didn't see this point made in any of them so I thought I should pass it on now. I may be back with an actual review of the item after it has been in use for a while.****Push the button at the attachment point (angled, false screw head) and pull the inside strap to loosen it. Pull the excess to tighten.****The "False Screw" buttons on the attachment points DO NOT LOOSEN THE SNAP-IN PEGS, as mentioned by an earlier poster in his "missing manual". DON'T waste your time trying to do what he says. THE BUTTONS ON THE SIDE ATTACHMENT POINTS ARE FOR RELEASING THE INTERNAL RATCHETING LOCK MECHANISM FOR THE STRAPS and this is mentioned nowhere in the manual. The strap attachment points just snap in to holes in the goggles and can be removed by rotating them 90 degrees so the strap points down and squeezing the posts together from INSIDE the goggles. There is a tab on one of the posts and a slot in the goggle-hole that match up when rotated 90 degrees, but these are not meant to be removed for normal adjustments. The strap is prevented from loosening while wearing by a ratcheting lock inside the attachment point. The strap excess can be easily pulled to tighten it on the wearer's head but TO LOOSEN IT THE BUTTON SHOULD BE PRESSED to release the latch. This may be why so many straps have been broken, because people have been just trying to pull the strap through without releasing the lock. The instructions for the goggles should really say this is the way to adjust the straps, but no mention is made of it - hence the breakage.

Great sound, comfort, and longevity, a few minor i
Sound quality is really great for this size and price. If you get a good seal on your ear canal (definitely try out the three different tip sizes), the bass comes out quite nicely. The EQ settings aren't that dramatic in difference, but certainly noticeable. The sound cancellation--if you have a good seal, then yeah. I have to turn it down to almost zero to understand what people are saying. It's not much different from wearing earplugs.I used the larger included tips, which made for a perfect seal. It might be just my specific ear shape, but these are the most comfortable and easy to put on ear buds that I've ever had. Seriously. They have an 8-hour battery life, and I routinely run them through that whole battery with no discomfort. The "clips" are really soft and bendy, with no plastic seams to irritate your ears, like I've had with other around-the-ear clips. The charging pod is fantastic, it's compact, sturdy, and has a pretty strong magnetic lock, making it really easy to get them into the case without much fiddling. I haven't tested whether it holds a full 24 or 32 hr charge, but it holds at least two full 8-hr charges, so probably does three with no problem. The ONLY reason I can't rate this a perfect 5 stars, is because of the (infrequent) connection issues. I swap them between my phone and PC almost daily, and there's no issue at all in getting them to connect in the first place...but when playing audio, there will sometimes be occasional drops of the sound, to nothing. It only lasts from half a second to maybe three seconds at the worst, though. And for me, it only happens once or twice in a full 8 hours of playtime, and usually only at the start. Once they've been on for awhile it seems to go away.I'm sort of neutral on the touch controls--they work, but it can be a little hard to have it register single taps or double (or triple!) taps. So you might accidentally skip to next track when you're just trying to turn the volume up. And because they fit so snugly in your ears, tapping the earbuds is loud. Also, when single-tapping to raise or lower the volumes, it increments by only 6-7% each time. But that's a really minor complaint. One suggestion: there should be a way to stop the "low battery" notification, and instead have them just fade down when they run out. Since they're so comfy, I could see people using them while they sleep. But pretty much all wireless earbuds have those voice notifications.Overall, I LOVE these little buggers! I'm going to buy a second pair so I can have one at full charge 24/7. Very good sound quality, long-lasting, and oh so comfortable. Fantastic budget earbuds.

Good - but not quite as good as the older version
These comments apply to Beats Flex released in late 2020.I got this item to replace a set I bought in early 2020 from another store. That set was great, but the left bud housing cracked when I fell asleep while wearing them. Besides that lack of durability and phone call quality, I liked the original product enough to repurchase it (at a sale price). Even so, I have some issues with the new set. My impressions are below.Connectivity: These Flex does not connect as easily to my phone nor remain connected as reliably for listening (see the phone audio quality comments below). I use these Flex with the same phone as before, but the performance aspect of the new Flex is not as good. I believe that the Android Bluetooth settings and the Beats app (Android) interact differently with the new Flex. Where the older Flex seemed to connect quickly, these new Flex require different user actions. Finally, on this point, I have not linked these to my Macbook; however, my old Flex worked flawlessly--and sounded great with the Macbook.Sound quality: These Flex sound good, but the bass is a bit wanting. I prefer a prominent low-end response, and the low-end on the Flex does not sound as good as the previous set. The highs and mid-range are clear, crisp, and not harsh or too bright, even at higher listening levels. I have not listened to Apple Spatial Audio content. The Dolby Atmos feature sounds about the same compared to the older Flex.Phone audio quality: These Flex sound great and are superior to the quality of my older Flex. The difference is dramatic. The connection during phone use is stable and quiet with little noise.Comfort: These Flex are less comfortable because the cord between the buds seems shorter or less flexible. I haven't concluded yet. The ear tips also seem harder and do feel as comfortable. If I find my broken set, I will swap tips. My initial perceptions of (dis)comfort may be due to insufficient break-in time. If I determine this is the case, I will update this point.Battery performance: The new Flex provide long listening time. I have frequently gotten more than 12ours of non-continuous use between charges. I am pleased by the battery performance.Other features/Accessories: Flex comes with an assortment of 4 different-sized eartips and a USB-C to USB-C cable for charging Flex. The cable is much too short for my use, being only about 4-6 inches in length. I have not used the cable because it is inconvenient, and I do not own a USB-C charging adapter; however, I have a suitable adapter supplied with my phone. In the box, as they say, should be a longer cable and an appropriate adapter.
