Bought this to replace my old GoPro Hero 5 at launch date. Although it was buggy out of the box (randomly stops recording or shuts down), its been running normally since they release of newer firmware and has continued to improve with each release. The 360 module has worked pretty well, video quality is good for a 360 camera, about the same is the One X, which is a pretty good camera already, but the action cam form factor and the water resistance really makes taking 360 video up a notch. The 4k module works just as expected, good video quality and a lot of different wide settings. Swapping the modules takes about 5-10 seconds. Battery life is decent, I got about 5 hours of continuous use from my last use and still had a little bit of power left over. The new firmware really has enhanced the audio quality over from when I first started using the camera and improved the startup time and screen response. Hopefully the trend continues for future releases. All the accessories it comes with so far works with all my old GoPro accessories. I haven't tried tying to airpods yet, but sounds like a useful feature. I still have a lot to learn about 360 videos, but this has been a good camera to start off with.

Easy to use and same quality as the big name brand! My son uses it for YouTube channel great battery life and under water pictures.

I purchased (3) 841 cameras on a whim looking for something that had better features than my current cameras. I was very surprised. The pictures were crisp and colorful. I setup the cameras according to the Amcrest instructions. Be sure you read them and don't assume you know everything. The instructions were clear and spot on. Some background in networking is a plus. I did have some questions with remote connections.I called the support line and waited 2 minutes before Cliff Hoyer answered. He was polite and knew what he was talking about. He answered every question I had and knew the product I purchased. He was very patient with me as well. To make a long story short I setup my LG V20 cell phone with Amcrest View Pro. I followed the instructions and got a really good picture. To my surprise it worked even though I left home to go to another location so I can see it even when I am on the road.A few points to remember when setting up your cameras.* Read the instructions they wrote them for a reason.* Down load the Ipconfig Tool from Amcrest Website.* Set up your Cell phone first if you have one with Amcrest Pro View. Mine is an Andriod LG V20* Setup port forwarding on your home router. You will need the Modem instructions from the maker.* Do not test your DSN or ISP Modem IP from you own network. Go to a remote location as I did. That is a good way to test all the features.* If you are at home use the Cameras local IP address and port forward number to view the camera from Chrome Web View. That was my favorite although there are other ways to view your cameras.* If you are a remote user, use your DSL Modem IP address and port forward number. This has options. Amcrestview.com, http to your modem IP from chrome Web view, and DNS that you can set up in your camera. I recommend all three, See which one works best for you.Take your time and learn about the product. This is a higher end unit for a much lower cost expect a little more work as it has a lot of tools. Have fun with it as I did. I played with it for 2 days and I am still learning.Last point is this is an unsolicited rating. I did my due diligence and read the rating articles. 5 star down to 1 star. I might try other cameras as I like field testing things but for now this is my weapon of choice for surveillance.

I was looking for some inexpensive outdoor cameras that didn’t require a subscription. I purchased two of these and installed them in our backyard. I was concerned about battery life and recharging but, after two months, I still have more than 75% battery life. I am super happy with these and purchased two more so that I can angle these in different directions. I’m very happy with my purchase.

This is a perfect camera for our teenager. She mounted it to her helmet for horseback riding and it works great! The app is fairly simple (although the word download is spelled incorrectly). Perfect alternative to the expensive cameras out there on the market. She’ll be enjoying this one for a long time!

I purchased these cameras basically to be able to watch the house and my dogs when I was away. Then I got a new router and no access. I was not sure what to do and decided to contact those who did. I was fortunate enough to get Dylan on the line. He reprogramed all three cameras via TeamViewer and I saw that they were working perfectly. Dylan saved me a lot of time and that was appreciated a lot. He was kind and supportive and patient. What more can you ask for? Glad I purchased this product.

I've used this for recording video while flying and am amazed at its performance and clarity. Crisp and smooth video, good battery life, robust camera - wish I'd bought it a long time ago!Can't go wrong with this one. I now have two and will be buying more for more perspectives.

This camera was perfect for my ski trip. I for me in motion at night it was a little jumpy but im sure ill dial it in with more use. daytime video and pictures were great. thanks akasa
