Very good value for the money
This is worth paying more. I did a comparison of uv5r (made sure seller is Amazon in order to get genuine one) vs this one. Hands down this has better reception quality.

Great alternative to expensive options
Camera has been absolutely perfect. The privacy cover was also a nice touch. I've been using it in Zoom and Discord with better overall quality and a much better zoom/field of view than my old camera. My only real complaint is the integrated USB cable instead of just using a micro USB or USB C connector so any size cord can be used. Camera is totally plug and play.

Great value for a kids first camera
My 8 1/2 year old grandson received this camera as a Christmas gift and I was very impressed with the ease of use and picture quality.I ordered one for my three year old grand daughter who loves to take photos and is actually good at taking them.The camera is very light weight and easy to use.The covering on the camera is rubbery so I think it will be durable.When I get photos I will download them to the review.

Exactly what we’ve been looking for
We have the Nest indoor camera and have been using it as our baby camera but we got tired of using our phone to keep tabs on our baby. Sometimes we miss the Nest alerts. The DXR-8 is exactly what we have been looking for. We also used it when we traveled and when we know we’ll be at someone’s house during nap time. This camera is well worth it.

User friendly
I bought this camera as I wanted to record my yoga videos for my you tube channel as I am new to the blogging world. The camera is user friendly and both the video quality and appearance of the camera are good. Moreover, the button is clear and easy and the picture quality was better than I expected. The battery life is long and I have used it daily for a few weeks now and still haven't had to charge it yet.

It’s a beautiful camera but hard to learn everythi
I absolutely love the concept of this camera. I just wished it were easier to figure everything out for someone who is not familiar with cameras (that has nothing to do with the quality just a side note)z the camera does take beautiful pics and love the ability to just transfer it all right to my phone and take content videos. I will say the sound is not great, even with the added mic. But over all, GREAT CAMERA!

Great Camera, poor Macbook Air webcam support.
The Web cam is excellent... the problem is support in Macbook air, with no supported software. So even if you get a more expensive Logitech webcam you will have to put up with the same problems.However it works well in Photo booth, Skype and Facetime. Easy to switch and use either camera. Easy to set up just plug in.. Taking pictures is easy. The camera is much better than the camera that comes with my Macbook Air.

Exactly what I needed
Needed a decent ir camera for cheap as I need atleast for of them for my purpose and these cameras fit the bill, night vision is better than I expected definitely good quality can film about 30 feet into pitch dark, the regular camera is just okay not impressive wouldn't consider it worth for content making but the for a night vision camera that's si.ple to use with large viewing screen for under 100$ this is a safe bet

Quality video
The video quality was wonderful. I bought the camera because I was going to a falconry school. The video I got of a hawk landing on my glove was outstanding. I would have posted the video, but I forgot to turn the camera off before I put it in my pocket and I haven't figured out how to edit it yet. Would highly recommend for someone who will not be using an action camera on a frequent basis.
