Easy to program with Chirp, Battery life seems decent, Antenna is OK- I recommend the upgrade for extended range.I recommend for easy mobile Ham radio.

New version with updates
This is my second selfie ring light from this company. I am very please with both, however this model has some enhancements. Most notably the phone/camera mount is inside the ring vs the other model where the mount is right below the ring. I like this mount since it is more intuitive to get the best lighting. Also the controls are now just below the ring light instead of inline on the power line. I find that it is easier to access this way. Lastly the power cable has a wall plug instead of a usb plug. Again, I like this better but it is a matter of preference. Overall, I could not be more please with both ring lights. The pricing is very competitive and the quality is exceptional. I use this light for work video calls and for making guitar performance videos and it works great in both applications.

It’s a good product it works with RING. However, I returned it, it was no longer needed. RING has great products.

Great purchase!
I have used multiple ring lights but this has been my favorite ring light! Very sturdy! Holds phone really well! And can be adjusted to many different levels!!! Love this ring light!!

Works well with Ring
This is part of my security system, with Ring. The lock works well with Ring as advertised. It appears to be a good sturdy lock.

Will not work with Neewer 18 inch ring light
I bought this so I could mount the Neewer 18 inch ring light to it. I want the ring light to go on my desk instead of needing to be mounted on the tall stand that came with it. Unfortunately, because of the way the ring light mounts, it will not attach to this stand. That means that the stand is absolutely useless for the purpose I bought it for. So, it is almost certainly going back. However, I will say that if I had bought this for a camera, I think I would have been pleased. It seems to be nicely made. I will ask my husband if he wants it and keep it if he does. Still, I wish there had been a notation that this would be useless for the ring light for those who, like me, have never owned a ring light before so we don't know how it mounts.

Great for monitoring outdoors around home
This is my third Ring camera (door bell, inside camera and now this outside camera), and I have become sold on Ring products. This stick-up plug-in outside camera exceeded my expectations. I mounted it on the side of the house under the eaves. Physical mounting was very easy, and the cord was long enough to reach through the eaves to an outlet in the attic without needing an extension cord. The ball-and-socket joint in the mount allowed sufficient angle adjustment that I didn't need a separate mounting bracket. The angle of coverage is generous, the image is crisp, and the Infrared night vision is incredible. It's easy to connect to WiFi, although be advised: when first connecting, it upgrades the software and tells you it could take up to 5 minutes. Mine took 10-15 minutes with a high-speed router, so be patient. There is also a wide range of parameters for the camera you can set with the Ring app, making it even more versatile. I highly recommend it.

Very Easy to use & Makes a huge difference
This ring light was very easy to put together and to adjust when needed for my zoom meetings. I had never used one before and it made a huge difference in the camera. I'm very happy with this product it's very good quality and it offers a lot of options for the price and for the size. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a good ring light.
