Excellent image clarity with minimal lag
Image quality:I wouldn't characterize image quality as true 1080p simply because the display is only 720p. However, if you're remoting in via the app and your phone has 1080p/4k capabilities, the image quality comes close to true 1080p at that point.Regardless, image quality is very clear, and vibrant, even at night, via night vision.Lag:We haven't experienced any lag from either camera at the display, or directly to the app.* Some of this will have to do with how fast your internet connection is.Display battery life:It's bad. I'd suggest leaving it plugged in at all times when you're not taking the display room to room.When the display is left unplugged, you're looking at 24-30 hours of battery life.App:Works great. No complaints.Bottom line:We'd give this set-up 5 stars if the display was 1080p, and if it had better battery life. Outside of those issues, we think this is a very good multi camera set-up, worthy of 4 stars

Rechargeable Battery and Compact Portable Display
Besides the high quality picture and great night vision, the two things that sold me on this device were the rechargeable battery and portable display.This is a daily used item, like your smart phone.Imagine having to change out batteries on your phone every week or every day... that wouldn't be realistic.I like how I don't need to replace the battery on this. It just needs to be charged, like your phone!Also, the screen is the perfect size to carry around.It's roughly the size of a larger smart phone, not bulky, and will fit in your pocket!
