Smaller then expected
Its a cheap chinese radio. But it seems to work as designed. Have not attempted to transmit with it. Very staticy on fm broadcast stations. Reception is excellent on ham stations. Replace your antennas the ones that comes with it is absolute garbage. - EDIT: October 1st 2018 - apparently this radio is illegal to operate and or sell. So buyer beware the FCC is cracking down on radios that are capable of operating outside the amateur bands.

Good book with always something new to learn.
Great book for furthering your interest in the vast mysteries of the night sky.I live in Southern Europe and this book is useful there too where we spend a lot of evenings outdoors all year round.Lovely for the coffee table too as so many people pick it up and have a look.

My husband loves this
I bought this for my husband after he completed an astronomy course as a hobby. It came on time although was a little thinner than I had thought. My husband loves that he can just dive in here and there and read whatever he's interested in that day - there's no set way to read it like chapters etc. The pictures are beautiful and it's very easy to read; particularly for the novice. The paper, however, has a shiny overlay and so some pages do stick together. All in all a really good and useful book.
