 I was a little nervous about installing this product but after reading the instructions I realized it was a lot easier than I thought.The camera comes with a bracket that attaches to the back of the car. You can use the enclosed double sided sticker or use the two holes in the back to screw it to the body. Then camera simply slides into place and you can secure it with enclosed tiny screws.The monitor can plug into the 12V lighter or directly to the fuse box and you can either mount it on the windshield or the dashboard. The guides on the screen can be fine tuned and the camera itself can tilt to adjust to the road. At night, the exposure is automatically adjusted for perfect picture quality.The best part is you can get extra brackets to use the same camera on any other vehicle or even as a security camera. A very handy feature.

Great little mirrorless super high resolution camera. Fantastic picture, but, DOES NOT HAVE A CLEAN HDMI so unless you want to give up the great autofocus and tracking this camera is useless for any kind of Live work . Yes there are workarounds. When I spend $500 to a great big company like Canon I expect to not have to work around and spend MORE money to make the camera do what I purchased it for. So Because Canon represents this as a vloging camera I give it a 3. I picked up one of them to use with a small GoPro Hero camera. There was a screw missing in quick lock plate that the camera mounts to. I told them I wanted a replacement, but I needed it that weekend. I went to a camera shop got the screw and it worked perfect for my needs. It's very light weight, I extended the legs as high as they would go, then cracked up the center post a bit more. It was very stable for the camera a bit over 6' with the tripod legs only 18" appart. After I used it I messaged them saying I didn't need to have it replaced and that it worked well and that I would keep the second one since I need a second one for another small camera. It's a very functional, stable and lightweight stand for phones and small cameras, among the best values out there.

I bought this for my 2.5 yrs old and she really likes it! She takes tons of pictures changing effects and backgrounds, she is having a lot of fun. We are a family that takes a lot of pictures with our camera so she follows around with her own camera now, she is getting better on focusing on the subject she wants to capture. An older kid (probably 4 and above) will have less difficulties to navigate with all the features that the camera offers, my kid is learning fast though. Pictures and videos are clear but what's more fun for the kid is the several frames and effects that the camera adds (seasons theme, birthdays, princess and so on). I am glad I purchased this item, it is not something my daughter will grow too fast out of it (since it is meant for older kid). Also the battery charges fast and the camera lasts a while.

I haven't tested the range, but this camera does exactly what we wanted for a baby monitor. It was very simple to set up and use right away. It doesn't use WiFi so it's been extremely great for traveling to visit family since the only thing we have to worry about it getting the camera on a furniture piece that allows for a good angle to see him. Obviously with any night vision camera a bright spot can interfere with the visuals but we have a Hatch device that doesn't set off the sound notification to let you know when the baby is crying or causes visual issues (we don't keep it in the direct vision of the camera though). If you're looking for a safe bet on a camera to use locally in your home or travel, then I'd highly recommend this to you.

I was looking for a rear camera for my RV. Hopefully, one that would not have all sorts of wiring requirements since my RV is an older model and not pre-wired for a rear camera system, where running all the wiring would be quite a task. Not to mention, I did not want to drill any holes in my RV if I could avoid it.Well, this camera was perfect for my needs. I had looked at other camera systems, even ones that connected by wifi, but most of them still required running a power wire. This camera stated that it required NO wiring at all...NONE!!! It sounded too good to be true, and I was a bit skeptic.Anyway, I ordered the camera system and when it arrived, I took the camera out of the box and found the directions to be super easy, with proper english and step by step photos, unlike so many other products where the instruction are either non-existent, poorly translated and/or worded horribly and make no sense. Simply charge the camera in sunlight or with the provided USB, and it is ready to go. I plugged the monitor into the cigarette lighter, mounted it on the dash, turned it on, and it connects to the rear camera almost immediately. It literally took only minutes to do. I was dreading the hours of finding an empty power source to tap into, the running of wiring to the rear of my RV. Again, no wiring at all was necessary.One thing I truly loved was that the rear camera did not require any drilling of holes in order to mount. This kit comes with a flat bracket with double-sided tape that you can mount anywhere. The rear camera slides on and off the bracket with ease and can be removed when needed to be charged. The camera is constantly charging while in sunlight, and will last all day, even if not exposed to direct sunlight. If a quick charge is needed, you can remove the camera and plug it into a USB and it will charge quickly and last for hours.The monitor is a perfect size and comes with a suction cup window mount that works great.This camera will work as either a back-up camera, where you use a small button remote to turn it on and off as needed, or as a full time backup camera, which is how I use in on my RV, as it has no rear view mirror. I really like the backup lines that can be turned on and off, as they help greatly when backing into a parking space (which is almost a must in and RV), but can be turned off when in full-time rear camera mode. Another feature I did not expect was the night vision ability. The picture was still very clear even at night.Best of all was the customer service. I had some questions about the product and emailed the seller, who responded quickly and answered my questions, and made sure I was happy with the product. I have found that with many of amazon sellers, contacting them is almost impossible, but not with these guys. They truly seemed eager to address my concerns and make sure I was nothing but perfectly happy with my purchase.Anyway, I seldom leave feedback, and only do so when I am absolutely happy and impressed with an item and/or service. This item deserved an A+ five star rating IMHO. You can not go wrong if you are looking for a vehicle camera, Best of all they put their money where their mouth is an offer a FREE RETURN policy if you are not completely happy...so I felt comfortable in buying this. It has proven to be all it promised, and I could not be happier with my purchase.

When I first purchased this camera I was skeptical. Many cameras that claim to be Solar Powered are very lacking at best. This camera was certainly the exception to the rule. The night vision on this device is amazing. We mounted it on a tree and at night you can see across the yard like daylight. Even up to almost 200 feet away, although it becomes dim at that distance. It was very easy to mount, and because its solar I did not have to worry about any wiring. I simply screwed the camera to a 2' piece of 2x4 wood and then used industrial 36" zip-ties to quickly strap the piece of wood to a tree. The squirrels at first rejected the idea of the invasion of privacy, but have since become avid voyeurs.Pro's: - Long Lasting Battery. I've seldom see the battery indicator drop below 60% even on a cloudy day. We live in Florida so we may get more than our share of sun, but even during the rainy season it performed well. - AMAZING NIGHT VISION. I can not be more clear that the night vision on this camera is spectacular. I was simply amazed at the reach. I've seen other cameras before where you had to stand close to the camera before it saw any level of detail. Not in this camera, I can see the entire back yard at night. - Very sensitive motion detection. Since this camera uses a combination of a PIR cell (motion detector) and the visual motion detection, its sensitivity level can be adjusted quite well. The squirrels seem to trigger it quite often.Con's: - The camera is strictly cloud based. This means all video to and from the camera goes via a server seomwhere on the internet and not directly from the camera to you. - It requires the mobile app and can not be accessed through the web or from a PC. For me personally this is a problem because I wish to be able to pull a stream directly from the device. For some this may not be a problem at all. - You can only download saved video from the cloud not the SD card. For me this makes it difficult if I'm not using the cloud storage subscription service they provide since I'm not going to climb the tree every time I want a copy of the video. - No direct configurability, everything must be done through a mobile application.Many of the items I listed as "Con's" are common among almost all of the newer style cloud based camera. So its certainly not something that's unique to this camera as a down side. And most people will not even consider this a detriment, since they simply want a camera which works. And for the price, and honestly for any price this camera is exactly that, a camera that works and works well.

The camera and base setup are really nice. Easy to pair and the motion is spot on. The app, and camera firmware, are getting regular updates and the local vs cloud is clearly delineated. I've had no issues with keeping the camera online even in my neighborhood with fairly congested wifi. The app has a few issue on my android phone. It is setup to have 2way voice and for one camera that is useful, for the other I've got it looking out from the 2nd story at the backyard and it has nothing but wind noises and is too far away hear anything. Not a big deal, but I wish I could turn off sound for that video. The app also has issues with playing a full volume even when the phone volume is set lower. Overall the camera and setup outweigh the app issues and I'm hoping they continue to evolve!
