Great entry level radio
It's a decent radio. Checked output with watt meter, over 4.5 watts just under 5. Been using it about 2 weeks and have hit repeaters about 26 plus miles away. 220 band is quite around here but picking up repeaters over 20 miles away. Great beginner or entry level radio to start with. Chirp is the way to go, programming is a breeze. Added bl-5l battery and triband antenna, nice additions. I'm taking antenna to work to test swr, I will update review.update: sent antenna back, I tested antenna with antenna analyzer at 146MHz the SWR was 3.56, at 220Mhz the SWR was 5.12. Surprisingly the factory supplied antennas with this radio measured 1.48 at 146MHz and 1.49 at 220MHz. I did not test at 70CM band. For a sub $60 tri band handheld I'm extremely pleased with it. The BL-5L 3800mAH battery is a great extended use addition.

LIFE SAVER!!!!
I have ordered other Bluetooth headsets in the past None of them were able to pair with my work radio. A co worker informed me she had bought this headset and it actually pair with our work radio. I went ahead and got myself one. I was not disappointed!!!! If fits perfect with numerous earpieces to insure its a perfect fit. If you are required to wear a radio for work and you want to get rid of all the wires, I highly recommend this product!!!! FYI I use a Motorola S3700 for work.

Best AM/FM Radio EVER !!
I really LOVE this Radio ! No Buttons to push, Just make your adjustments and tuning with Actual Knobs ! The Cabinet itself looks so Great and The sound is really clear ! I do not watch TV anymore, so I am getting so much Enjoyment out of this Radio !! Thank You so Much !

These are expensive batteries when purchased at camera stores or Radio Shack. Good price and good service from the vendor.

Great for digital amateur radio operation
Really works out well as a sound card for my xiegu 5105 Radio. By using an 8 pin mini din connector and a cheap 3.5 mm to 3.5 mm cable cut in half. Much cheaper option than buying a sound link. Also if you don’t have a dedicated pc to amateur radio operations using this eliminates tweaking one setup every time. You set it up once for the radio for digital and when you are done just unplug and your computer is back to normal. Works great for FT8 operation and PSK31.

Just love the retro look!
I mostly like everything on this radio. It brings back memories from my childhood when my father would keep his ears closed on the radio while listening to his favorite stations. I haven't used the bluetooth connection yet. I have checked the many stations and the sound is great.

Versatile and Great for the Price!
This is a really versatile wireless speaker with Bluetooth, USB, Micro SD card and radio playing options. I purchased this speaker as a gift for my Father-in-law. He specifically wanted a speaker that had USB and radio capabilities as his old radio broke. I am very pleased with this as it’s easy for him to use and gives him multiple options on how to listen to music. The speaker connects easily to Bluetooth and I was impressed with the how loud it is and thought the sound quality was really good given the price of this unit. I’d absolutely buy it again.
