Works well in our home. Sound quality is pretty good. The volume doesn't get too loud, it's plenty adequate - but if you're an anxious mother that wants to stay up all night listening to breath sounds or crickets in the backyard this one will disappoint you. It had plenty of volume for hearing any baby distress. Simple and easy to use and setup.
