I purchased this for a work event and it was very useful. The cord length is long enough to be about 4-5 feet away from what you are filming.

I bought this camera for behind my house I love the way it mounts it has two positions for mounting, and it picks up the smallest movement in the dark of the night, I purchased this camera because I wanted to see what animal are behind my fence at night and it seams do a great job spotting them. My camera is at least 80 Feet from my router and it has no problems connecting to it, or sending me any notifications and it is easy to figure out how to work all the setting with or without instructions.

Works well
Motion detection is very sensitive. My medium size dog triggers it from 35 feet away. Mine don't see much activity, so there is always enough charge on the battery even after dark dreary days

Sensitive to motion and alerts phone and watch. Hope the batteries last a long time before recharging.

It took me a little while to set it up. I didn't realize there was a second piece for phones but it works great for it's purposes. You can alternate and shift it into different positions and it keeps the phone steady. It's also pretty sturdy, I haven't used it extended all the way out yet but for a phone it works well.
