The camera performs to expectations so far. Good quality photos, night or day. Batteries have lasted long so far. Like the viewing feature, however I’ve brought the camera back to download pics to my laptop. Good value overall.

I purchased this camera to use mostly as another venue for creating videos without my phone. The weight of this camera is so light that sometimes, I forget I have it on! Being able to point the camera and shoot, no matter the orientation of the device, helps a lot. I am able to just use it when I need it, put it away quickly when I don't.The Pro mode is the killer feature of this camera, as I can shoot in the moment and edit the footage for social media and regular use later.But with all the praise, there is a bit of a problem. First off, I find myself depending on the remote a lot more than I originally thought. Using the clicking feature on the camera causes me to get a lot of false starts and with the vibrating being the only way to tell if it's on or off while it's on my body doesn't help. The second problem is that while the quality of the video is usable (I shot things off the camera that have been used in news media), the sound leaves a lot to be desired. The charging case/remote can crack easily if you're not careful. I have the 64 GB version of this camera and thank goodness I do since I use the pro mode 80% of the time. Lastly, the dates of when the videos are taken are sometimes off. And the camera runs hot at times.This is one of those cameras that you have to read the manual to fine tune it. But with experience and practice, you'll be able to get the most out of it.I can't wait to create with this camera. I'm glad I got it!

This is a robust and easy to use camera, unlike some the menu and control system is easy to understand and therefore setting up and operation is easy. The 'locking catches' that seal the camera after activation are stronger than most and I feel confident in leaving it out in all weathers.

Great camera I have ever seen much better than GoPro even quality and definitely price. it comes with 2 battery and accessories, touch screen works great, stabilization with 170 degree angle view. Must say Nice Camera under $150. Highly recommended.

IT WORKS PERFECTLY!!!! My intention was to connect this PTZ directly to my Lorex Fusion NVR and with help from Wen at Jidetech I was able to do that. I’m not a “Techie” but I have some low level PC skills. I have tried to add other camera’s by “searching” for them in the Lorex NVR software but they seem to work for a while and then eventually show “disconnected”. For this camera, the short story is that you need to change the IP address to match the format of the Lorex NVR’s Gateway as well as the Primary and secondary DNS. My NVR shows 10.1.1.1 for the gateway so I used the free camera search tool provided by Jidetech to find and open the camera software. Once in the program I updated the Gateway, assigned it a unique IP Address that wasn’t being used by the Lorex NVR and updated the Primary and secondary DNS. This is all done from your PC while the camera is connected to a POE port on your network switch or router(or use the power supply if it’s not a POE switch) on your network and then “save” those changes. The camera will go through a “reboot” and then you disconnect it from your network and then plug the network cable in to an open POE port on your Lorex NVR. Simple as that! The camera has been stable for many months now and has not had any connectivity issues throughout that time. I am able to control the PTZ features of the camera directly through the Lorex software as well as the phone app as if it was a Lorex camera. Much less expensive than the comparable Lorex brand PTZ that they offer at $699.99! If/when I need another PTZ this is where I’m going…Great products at a great price!

This camera is amazing considering it was within my budget. It has surpassed my expectations. The video quality is superb, and the camera has a very sleek design. While it is not quite as good as the GoPro Hero 7 Black, it has all the same features and qualities. The camera could do with a better UI but the current one is not half bad. I have taken the camera skiing and I used the bike mount to attach it to my ski pole. The mount held up better than I first thought. As I was skiing down the slopes the mount never even loosened. I am not sure I will ever use the sticky mount though. I am very pleased the camera came with two batteries and a dual battery charger. I will especially need them since the battery life is quite short. And despite the fact that the camera came with much more in the box than a GoPro, I wish that there was an included micro SD card. The connection to the Bluetooth voice-activated remote is amazing and seems to work very well. I did not test this in the field yet though as it is only splash proof, not waterproof. The app could use a bit of an upgrade, but lets’ not linger on that. I really love how there is an additional backdoor to the waterproof housing with a hole so you can use the touch screen while using the housing. Overall this camera is a great budget Action Camera to take anywhere your heart desires from the slopes to the oceans and anywhere in between. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quality camera without leaving a hole in your pocket.
