Good quality for rhe price
My son was fascinated with pirates and military stuff, he has been using my old scope from the BB gun to play out his fantasy. Decided to get this to surprise him, and I can't tell you how happy he was. He was amazed to find that he can see the craters on the moon. Tried mounting it on the tripod with the cellphone attachment, it took some time to set it up, but it did work for bird watching and pictures as advertised. Happy with the purchase.

Best option for beginner that want to see more tha
We are learning on this telescope fairly easily and have so far seen Jupiter and 4 of its Moons, Saturn with clear distinction between planet and its rings as well as close ups of the Moon. We started with zero knowledge just ambition to learn and have done well with minimum struggle. I recommend for the families wanting to learn with the kids or those new to the sky who wants to see planets.

It's a good telescope. If you want to see détails on fancy constellations, nebula, whatever, you will have to dish out a lot more for a quality scope. This one is great to check out the moon. It is quite big but quite light for it's size so have a horner of the house reserved to store it.Also, check out reviews from smarter people on this telescope as I'm just average Joe.

Great telescope
Great beginner scope.EASY setup better than expected.Just received two days age and have only had one night to moon gaze.After taking time to find the moon realized I needed to teach myself and familiarize myself on the operation of the scope.
