The Ottlite brand is a favorite. However, in one of the photos it shows this lamp attached to a desk that clearly is too thick for the clamp. I know this because I have this desk. I will be giving the light to someone who can use it. Needless to say they're thrilled.

I enjoy the features in this. I believe I’ll be able to use this for years! Nice quality and gives a good picture.

Bought this for a Christmas gift for my aunt so with covid she could still see her family they love it! She said favorite gift!

Bought this to serve as a light over a 16 x 20 photo. Excellent! Clamps to the easel the photo is on and the neck is stiff enough to hold position. Cord plenty long to plug into the adapter so no need to worry about batteries depleting. Good and bright with cast a good light even over a 20" wide photo (photo is is sitting in landscape mode).UPDATE April 20, 2017 - May be my imagination, but it seems this light has lost its brilliance. I keep it plugged in, so it should not be the battery. I will write the company and see what they say. At this point, I would not purchase it again, nor would I recommend it. May change depending on company's reaction.UPDATE: April 21, 2017. Wrote them yesterday and I already heard from the seller. Prompt and courteous response and definitely attempting to deal with the issue. Based on their response, I would not hesitate to purchase from this company again.UPDATE: April 25, 2017. Received a new light from the seller. Immediately could tell a difference. It was bright like the other one was at first. We shall see if it retains the brightness. I hope it does - it is a nice light. Seller was prompt and ready to satisfy. Appreciate it.

So far so good. Photos are outstanding and the instructions are easy to understand. There’s still a lot of information to know.
