Materials ok, but design is not
My first attempt at trying to find an inexpensive gimbal head, but was somewhat disappointing.Pros:- Inexpensive- Materials are not bad (sturdy)- Comes with 3/8"-1/4" bushing/adapterCons:- When tilt knob is loosened, gap appears between arm and frame, so arm "slumps" and is no longer horizontal. If you tighten the tilt know, gap disappears, but can no longer tilt.- Tilt motion is stuck unless tilt knob loosened a lot (but then get gap and slumping)- Panning seem not bad, but there is some sticking- Edges are kind of sharp- Knob for opening/closing the Arca-style clamp sticks

Remote tilt!
Very easy to set up, clear screen. I love the remote tilt, I can move it to see my child’s entire room.

Almost perfect
It is very sturdy, long reach, very versatile phone holder, and clamp has large strong adjustable jaw. My only issue is that the phone holder itself doesn't have vertical tilt ability. You need to bend the entire arm, which is theoretically ok except that if you bend the arm repetitively in the same place...metal fatigue...weaken...break. Granted its thick enough that it will / should take a long time to snap.

Could use a re-design
The solar panel does not have enough range of motion for some mounting conditions. If the arm was a bit longer you could tilt it better. It does work, seems to be bright enough. If you can live with the angle shown in the pictures, it is a good device.

Good, but some flaws
Very sturdy and holds up my 27-inch monitor nicely. I like the ability to adjust the strength of the arm (spring), which works perfectly since I bought a laptop attachment. The only problem is that the directions say that you can adjust the tightness of the mount to tilt the screen going up and down using their tool, but the tool doesn't work/fit.

Suction cup stays even after a year of use
Didn't use the included glossy disk, didn't stick to my curved dash. Very easy to position once and leave it. If you're gonna be moving the arm around a ton, this isn't the best one for that. But it's easy to tilt the phone piece up, down, left, and right as well as rotate it sideways, all without changing the position of the flex arm.

Lasted 1 yr
Lasted one year. And, I was probably only using it for about an hour/wk. When it was working, I liked the thick tripod and the colors offered on the lighting. The other negative was it was on a weird tilt I was never totally able to correct.
