It's an SSD...
Typical installation, I used this to replace a 7200rpm 64MB Toshiba spinning disk. Gaming data and music recording is done to the drive. I didn't notice a huge difference in game loading times, however I also know that sequential loading times on spinning platters often outperform SSD.Loading times on my DAW and plugins have gone from minutes to seconds, which pleases me immensely. The drive is about a year old now, and has been a solid performer in all areas.
