After doing some research on multiple action cameras, the v50x is the one that really stood out of the bunch. The image stabilization on the camera is just amazing and worth the money when compared to other economic action cams. If you intend on creating small action films with this camera or any sports production, this is the one for you. You can save a lot of money selecting this one over the GoPro variant as the video quality is near identical. Also, if you would like to create some films from your recordings, consider getting an external mic for better audio quality and a selfie stick as I did as both will definitely improve your films!

Bought this camera on Prime Day for my trip to Cabo and snorkeling with whales and sea lions. Camera takes good photos and videos. A little hard to maneuver with the waterproof case -- like switching between photo and video. Also, I couldn't figure out how to zoom with the waterproof case on. Oh, and the app is terrible -- no need to download because it provides no benefit (sadly).Two important things you'll want to buy in addition to the camera...*You MUST buy a Micro SSID card or camera wont' work*If you have Iphone/Ipad.... Save yourself time and buy a SD/Micro SD card reader for iphone/ipad. It will make uploading the photos MUCH easier :)

Great camera and pretty good quality for such a great price! Battery life last much longer than expected, and it comes with two of them!

Pleasantly surprised by this action cam. Took on a hiking trip through muddy trails, up hills, and wading streams. It was great to be able to capture our rugged movements without a bulky camera or having the fear of damaging our camera. Only complaints I had to search for instructions online for how to use.

Very easy to use and price/value is unbeatable. The remote control makes it super easy to take pictures and video while still being able to hold to the handlebar. (Which is very important while you ride !! LOL)Great quality and easy to share and download content.

I like that it comes with two batteries and a charging dock that you can slot both into at the same time. The case is definitely waterproof, I took it to the pool with me over the summer and the kids took some underwater shots. The mount was hard to get to stay still on my dirtbike handle bars. But I really wanted to mount it to my helmet anyways but couldn't figure out a way with the helmet I have. i've never done it before though, so not the camera's fault just mine. It's about 1/3 of the price of a gopro, so I'm happy with it.
