I know that it isn't fair to compare a $300 thing to a $100 one. But, I can with the go pro hero 8 and the Akaso V50X action cameras. They are just so similar but in different universes for cost. I think that the Akaso is a far better value per dollar but if you can afford a go pro, get that. There are many pros and cons of the Akaso that I can't go through all of them but I will review a few.Pros of Akaso:StabilizationImage qualitylightweightcomes with tons of mountscompatible with go progreat touch screencheapgreat valueCons of Akaso:unremovable watermarkneeds the case to be waterproofgets hot easilyslow motion is choppyzoom into much and you get pixels (the bar is low)Overall, I think that the Pros outway the cons by a long shot. If you are looking for a $100 action camera, look no further. There is nothing better than this for its price. Unless you are shooting an action movie, this should suit all your needs!

It was a perfect gift for our son without spending a lot of money. I was blown away with the video quality. The kids are having a blast doing their action stunts.

Camera works awesome! I use it to vlog repairs on my sailboat. The separate clicker to start and stop recording is an awesome feature. Great quality so far!

I was running to catch up the metro rail station schedule and I do not know that it was on and I notice when I sat down in the train it was recording. I run a preview and the images or slides where very clear and STABLE so image stabilization is excellent for AKAso V50X

I purchased this action camera for my 13 year old daughter. We took it hiking this weekend to catch the beautiful colors of the fall leaves. Video stabilization was excellent as well as picture quality. I was even more impressed when we took some underwater pictures in a small creek. Clarity of the underwater pictures amazing! Only hicup was getting the micro sd card to read in the camera. I had to research that the card needs to be formatted in the camera before use. Once we realized the micro sd card had to be formatted in the camera, it was super simple to do...3 clicks and about 10 seconds and done! Overall, very satisfied!

So I got this camera for a trip to Borneo where I was gonna be caving, trekking through the jungle and swimming in rivers. This camera did the job. The stabilizers were good enough for the caving part even in low light. The colors could be more alive but it's easy to fix in post processing.

This is a pretty good product for the price. The camera comes with a variety of basic mounts and so far they appear to be interchangeable with gopro products. The battery life is pretty good and it comes with two batteries and the charge fairly quick. I'm still getting familiar with settins but the image stabilization and picture quality in low light are ok but the gopro is better. Overall this is a great camera for the price.

I did my research but was still not sure if this camera would be a good find. I was very pleased at the performance of this camera. Especially nice is the ability for the camera to work in low light situations. The price point makes this a definite find when comparing with action cameras 2 and 3 times the price. The V50x was a good purchase overall.
