Using it to record 2k 60 fps as a dash cam and body cam. Being plugged into a power source when set to driving mode automatically turns the camera on and records so less fiddling with the buttons needed. It will also save and shut off automatically once the power source is gone. The camera accepted my 128gb sd card with no problem. The only downside is that using it this way means you can't use the external microphone. A separate audio jack would have made this amazing.

Bought this camera to replace my now defunct GoPro 3, I didn't glanced at the ratings or features, thinking its a sub $100 dollar camera it should do the job as the old GoPro. Wowzah, does this camera has all the bells and whistles of the newer GoPro for a 1/6th of the cost. This little camera is amazing, the picture quality in 4k is amazing (something my GoPro didn't support) and the image gyroscope function removes all the jerkiness my old GoPro had. I would wish that the battery life would be a bit better and the microphone its the weak point on these (buy the $8 external microphone if you want to capture clearer sounds like of your engine and exhaust when driving). Save yourself 500 dollars from the newest GoPro and buy this Akaso you won't regret it.

I love the size and quality. It takes great pictures and the waterproof case works great. Only complaint really is the sound quality is sub par even with the lav mic accessory and the battery life. However, neither of those are crippling. They come with 2 batteries so its not a big deal to switch em out after a few hours, I just dont like to stop for that is all.As far as the sound quality it's just very quiet, and can't be used with the waterproof case which is not a big deal as I use my phone to record sound for my videos. But felt it was worth mentioning. Overall definitely worth the money and I dont regret buying it. May even upgrade to another one in the future.Can also stream to their app to work as a pseudo security cam short term.
