I purchased this camera to record point-of-view videos of labs for my science students during virtual instruction. I haven’t used the camera a great deal, but in the few times I’ve played with it, I have been very happy with picture quality and battery life. The camera also came with a nice complement of attachment adapters for different applications. Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase and would buy this camera again.

I wanted an action camera, but did not want to spend a lot of money. After reviewing it on Amazon, the web, and YouTube I decided to purchase the AKASO V50X. I am very happen and it is worth the money if you are looking for an action camera.

I have used this as a dash cam and to chronicle my off-road adventures. It works very well for that purpose. The camera is easy to use, easy to set up, and its also easy to change settings. I have used up to a 128 Micro SD card without issues. It does use a lot of space when set at 4K, but at the lower settings like 1081 on the 7 minute loop setting it takes about 7 hours to fill up the 128 card. I am still getting used to using the camera, but so far its been great. Only issue I had was with the stabilization and gyroscopic features. If you use both while filming down a rough fast dirt road, the video starts to look simulated. Using one of the other of these features seems to be working very well with video quality.

Sound from the camera is completely distorted when video is put on Sony Vegas editor.

Picture quality with his camera is pretty good I have not ran the battery down yet so I can't speak to the battery life but it promises a long time.I bought the camera to record motorcycle rides have only been able to record a short ride so far but it worked good.

this action cam has all the bells and whistles of a camera twice its price.excellent video and picture quality, great image stabilization.i found the built in microphone audio recording quality a bit disappointing, but honestly i'm not using it for audio recording, and this action camera shines best under water, where audio capture really isn't an important feature.highly recommended!

This was the best item I have purchased because of its flexibility and ease of use. I can put it anywhere and video hands-free This is what makes it so much fun for me.

Camera takes excellent still and action shots, image stabilization is right up there with other brands costing 4-5 times as much. I also got the external mic. so the sound is good. This is the best deal for an action cam period.

I bought this as a replacement for my original GoPro camera which died after many years of service.I use it for motorsports videos, primarily autocross.The image quality is great and I like the touchscreen display and all the options it offers. I have the camera mounted on my car's harness bar behind me and have attached the included wireless remote to my steering wheel.About the only thing I would like to see improved is to either have some kind of telltale light or indicator on the front of the camera to show when it is recording; or to have it play different tones when it starts and stops recording. Right now it plays the same tone for both events.The problem is telling if I'm recording or not when I'm strapped into the car. When I press the video button on the remote and hear the tone, I can't tell if the video is starting or stopping.I hindsight, I wish I had purchased the Akaso Brave 4 which is a similar camera, but has an LCD display on the front with a recording indicator.

I use this camera to film my bike rides, it works well and I can link it easily with my phone for playback on the go. It's my first camera, but I'm happy with the quality and performance. Comes with 2 batteries so you are prepared.
