This is a great device. I use it to record while I'm playing various sports. And also to help me train. There are many uses for it and I probably have not figured out everything I will use it for yet. The various attachments are great and the picture and clarity are awesome.

I really like this camera. Great price, lots of features compared to more expensive ones. I went ahead and purchased a small case and an external microphone to make thing easier for different occasions. The accessories included are many. I did need to purchase separately a set of curved sticky bases for proper use with my motorcycle helmet. The remote control option is just great and works awesome. I really recommend this camera.

This is a pretty good action camera for the money. The image stabilization is not excellent, but good enough to watch for an extended period of time without getting dizzy. I use this camera for mountain biking and it captures the trail with reasonable quality considering its 1/3 of the price of a GoPro. 4K on this camera is pretty good, but the stabilization starts to lag behind. Slow motion works alright, but quality drops severely and there is a lot of color information missing. The wide angle is 170, which is right around where you want it to be. You can also change the angle in settings, and speaking of settings, the ui is intuitive and easy, and the touchscreen is far better than GoPros three times it’s price. Battery life could be better, but it’s decent and it works. Overall it works well of mountain biking POV, and anything that is less demanding of the stabilization will be exceptional.

I bought two of these cameras for Christmas gifts for our 9 and 12 year old. I wanted a camera that was reasonably priced and easy to use yet wasn’t a camera that was obviously designed for kids (crazy colors etc). They’ve been using them pretty regularly to make videos around the house. Seems like audio isn’t amazing with the case on but that’s likely to be expected. It would be nice if we didn’t hear the buttons click every time the camera was turned on and off but that doesn’t seem to be an issue if you use the remote. It’s also nice the that video stream goes directly to our iPad if the two are connected to WiFi. So far these cameras were a good purchase and the kids are really happy with them.

I am quite happy with my purchase of AKASO V50X. The touch screen works very well and it even supports swipe gestures. Two batteries plus charger to charge them at the same time is quite handy. I always have a fully charged battery. The video quality and the image stabilization are quite good. You can charge the AKASO V50X while recording by connecting a power bank via a micro-usb cable. The camera has input for an external microphone --- not many cameras in this price range do. Akaso sells the microphone for $10. One drawback, though, is that it uses the same micro-usb port and so you cannot charge while using the external microphone.I have not tested the water-proof capabilities yet. I have barely scratched the capabilities of this camera. One of the reasons I purchased this camera was because it comes with a bluetooth remote control that you wear like a watch. I can start and stop video recording by pressing a button. One complaint: The documentation says that pressing the gray video button starts the recording. But it didn't work on 2 occasions and I missed recording 2 important action sequences. But I found out that a long press (2 or 3 seconds) works reliably.Suggested improvement: There are 2 buttons, one for recording video and one for taking a picture. However, the camera has to be in the correct mode. If it is in the video recording mode and you press the red button to take a still picture, it won't take a picture. Similarly, if you are in the still picture mode and you press the grey button, it won't record video. I hope Akaso fixes this with a firmware update.

Had trouble opening up the files with sound. Ended up returning it and picked up GoPro instead.
