We got our 10 year old son this "action camera" for his birthday and he was super excited to try it out. I was worried it would be hard to figure out the accessories based on previous reviews, but that was not the case. They were pretty straight forward. His main thing was he wanted to take video under water. He's videoed several times and the underwater case has stayed sealed and has captured clear images. The only thing I wish it came with was an extra SD card so definitely take that into consideration. Otherwise, it's totally worth it for the price.

I was pleasantly surprised with the overall quality, both picture and build, of the this product! You can tell that their research and development team put a good amount of time and effort into looking into the GoPros and enhancing everything it can with their product. Moreover, while the product is superb, the customer service is unbelievably helpful with answering questions!

I did my research and was looking at several devices to take with me off-roading . This particular camera, the V50X action camera, had all of the features that their top brand competitors had, but was much less $$ cost-wise. I took the plunge and can tell you that I was not disappointed. The quality is superb, the weight is great, it is sturdy, and I am very happy as a customer.

Bought this for my son for Christmas. He was a bit disappointed when he saw it wasn’t a GoPro. But after we got it set up he was excited to use it. He has used it for hunting every weekend and he gets great action footage which is clear and even with the waterproof case you can hear a little bit of the action. But the camera stays dry and clean. My husband used it in the ocean to film the boys boogie boarding and the picture quality underwater is amazing! My son said he is glad he got this camera instead of the GoPro.

Good product for the price. Recently got a GoPro hero 9 which has better image quality but battery life is way lower than the akaso and 5 times more expensive. Great little camera.
