It is a good monocular, easy to use as such. Quality seems good. It is a nice magnification to use by the eye. The device has an attachment, so the concept is to attach a cell phone and use its camera for extra magnification through the already solidly magnified field of sight of the monocular device. So the extra magnification and picture quality depends on the phone you have. The problem is pressing the shutter button on the phone moves the whole setup and the result is unpredictable. If you have a selfie "clicker" already installed, it will work nicely for high magnifications.

Purchased this to see identification labels on pipes that were located in roof rafters approximately 30 to 40 feet above the warehouse floor. The phone camera attachment was helpful to get clear images of the labels

Tripod is a little light but for price of inclusion a great deal. It also keeps lens fixed on your target (if you hit close to the same spot). There are a couple of good videos on this unit on YouTube to simplify the setup. This is a good unit with nice extras for a reasonable price.
