This video doorbell has a similar look to others on the market. Video quality is very good and the monitor/alert app for our iPhone is a nice feature.We received it pretty quick (4 days) without Prime. It was relatively straight forward to install. The only issues I had was having to move the mounting of it down and inward due to the higher mounting of the original (camera would be better with a wider vertical viewing angle). The other issue was what others here reported; the speaker function in the app that the manual said to download did not work. To fix this you need to uninstall that app, then install and setup using the RENPHO Smart app. Everything worked fine after that.

At first I wasn’t sold on how a smart doorbell would be that much better than my existing old school button. It was time to change the old buttons so I decided to give it a try.Opened the box, connected the wires from the existing doorbell, it fit perfect in my smaller door frame. I downloaded the app and was working in minutes. I’m using the existing bell in my house and that is flawless. You can use thier chime if you wish.The picture is cystall clear. And the night vision keeps it clear at night.The notification in the app work right away and left me know if someone is ringing the bell or if motion was detected with a video.I love the alerts now, if a package get delivered on the doorstep I’m the first to know.I usually work from home in the basement of my home, when someone rings the bell I can quickly see if it a sales person not bother.When guest come over I get a early detection and can great them at the door before they ring!Loving it!

My old doorbell was oudated and did not work properly. I've been looking around for a good video doorbell and I saw that this company sold one! I've used their products before such as a digital scale and have had no issues with it. This product was easy to install, and I like the fact that it is hardwired into my house electric rather than running off a battery. The video app was easy to install and use.

The install is pretty straight forward (unless the handy helper that lived at your house before you stripped all the wires back to the house for some reason?). Pop off the old doorbell, and bolt in the new connecting two wires. This unit came with an angle bracket (pictured) which I didn’t expect and is SUPER helpful for front door configurations like mine. The image quality is nice and I appreciate the notifications on my phone when someone is at the door since, let’s face it, everyone in the country pretty much has their phone glued to their hand. No more having to get off my rump to check the door like a caveman!Issues:1. During the initial set up, If you also have a router that runs multiple networks and automatically band steers, the doorbell will time out. This workaround worked for me: Turn off 'band steering', rename the 5g networks, save. Have your mobile device connect to the 2.4g network, set up the video doorbell, then change the names of the 5g networks back and turn band steering back on. Hope this helps keep someone from resetting their bell several times trying to connect.2. Two-way communication on my unit does not function. I’ve done the troubleshooting steps, checked the app to verify correct settings, verified the mic is open on my mobile device, but the communication continues to be one way. The doorbell mic/1-way coms work fine, but the two-way coms does not. Docking one star for this. If this gets resolved, I’ll update.3. I couldn’t find the dimensions of the device on the company materials, so please see my pic with a tape measure for reference. Looks like this device is slightly smaller than a RING Cam. It’s a little thicker than a ring, but it’s also narrower. Not good or bad, it just is.Overall, this is a nice little unit. I especially like the local storage option with a memory card. That’s a great value add for anyone that doesn’t want an additional monthly bill. 5 stars for cost, 5 stars for construction (looks very solid and the plastics feel durable), 4 stars for features, 5 stars for install. So what are you waiting for? You know you want one so you no longer have to get out of your chair to ignore the door anymore. =)

Good picture/video quality. Easy to set up. Downloading the app that goes along with it was simple. Allows us to adjust the sensitivity level. Over great great product!

Super easy to install and set up quality is great

We just installed our new idoo video doorbell! We’ve been looking at these gadgets for a few months and decided to give this one a try, as it’s very budget friendly with no additional subscription or service fees.Our doorbell panel was a bit narrow so we used the angle mounting option that is in the instruction book. Worked great. The installation was easy as it connects to our existing doorbell chime. Setting up the doorbell itself is a breeze. You create an account, register the device, let the camera read a QR code from your cellphone and connect it to your home WiFi. The HD picture that comes through to the APP is really great quality, and gives a nice panorama shot of our yard & driveway. It is motion detected so it can be setup to alert you for every disturbance if desired. The doorbell speaker comes in clear for the visitor, but they don’t seem to hear us at all?! Not sure if they’re supposed too? You’re able to screenshot photos from the camera as well as playback if you insert your own SD card to the device. We haven’t done this yet, but will. The camera is even great at night!! We had many cars pass the house and we were able to see them well.We’re a family of 4 and all of us have downloaded the APP and are available to see who’s coming and going and share messages as well!So far so good for this economy priced video doorbell! I think it’s an amazing gadget in this price range.

I bought this item, installed it and it made my door chime vibrate constantly. Had an electrician look at it he said the item I got was not grounded properly to send it back and get a replacement. I sent it back got the replacement and it works great. No more vibrating wall or chime. Its clear and it alerts my phone when there is movement outside my house.
