It was hard to pick a trail cam as there are countless choices out there but I ended up choosing this one as the reviews were decent. I wanted something both for security and for seeing what animals are on my land. It takes very nice daytime pics and I'd say decent nighttime pics. Menus were easy to figure out and seems good so far.

This camera seems to take good pics/video.The side motion sensors set off a lot of empty videos.Seems to really like batteries, new ones.

Easy to use and the picture quality is great!

It takes great pictures of deer,raccoons, and hogs.

I set this up down by the lake to get pictures of the wild life. I have taken regular camera pictures of fox, deer, bob cats and other wildlife during the day. Always wondered what was out at night. This works great It only runs from dark till dawn. So far I have only gotten pictures of neighbor's dogs that are out by themselves. But I have hope. It has taken great photos and I am hoping that after the snow starts the dogs will be inside and the wildlife will be in front of the camera.

I used this little cheap trail cam with 20 megapixels and the farthest motion detection I could find. This camera has excellent quality photos and it reaches out a good 80 ft. The only problem is I left it out for a month before deer season and it's been out for 2 weeks since deer season was over. The camera took 450 pictures and it drained all eight brand new lithium energizer batteries. It's supposed to last 8 months on 8 batteries. It made it 6 weeks

I was extremely happy with these cameras. They work better than some of my more expensive cameras.... BUT I’ve had them out for maybe a month and the back of this one broke off. I have no idea how or why. It was mounted on this pole, we had a few days of rain, and the next time the ground dried enough for me to go check them, it was broken and dangling. Now my pictures are lopsided because it’s impossible to Mount straight with only one side of support. Everything else about the cameras has been wonderful.

The pics the camera takes are acceptable. When it is cold outside, I don't care how low the PIR sensitivity is set, unless it is a large object it will not trigger.This bird feeder the bear is feasting on is about 20 feet from the camera. Our driveway is 15 feet behind the bird feeder and the camera will not trigger when our Jeep passes by,I don't use the video. Can't review that. The camera is fairly easy to set up as long as the user is not instruction manual averse. Set up is step by step and clearly laid out.You have to buy your own memory card and 8 AA batteries (NOT rechargeable).

this camera works better in every way than my more expensive cameras. super quiet, cannot see any sign of flash and sensitive at 80+ ft. Somehow it is very easy on batteries also and works fine down to 20f degrees so far.

The good: The night vision is pretty good and it takes a nice picture/video within 20 yards. Gets a little fuzzy beyond that but for the price I was satisfied. The battery life is also great. I loaded it up with AAs after I got it and it has been running since on the same battries. which brings me to:The bad: The thing started taking on water already and I dont mean at the door. It has condensation/fog in both the IR lighting element and the viewing screen. I went to check the camera last week and it had taken no pictures in a week so I am guessing it is malfunctioning. I put it back out and will update after I check again if it started taking pics again but for a camera made to be outside that is only 4 month old I would expect it to hold up better than to be leaking already. We have had some fall rain but nothing like it will see during a western PA spring turkey season. Disappointing! I contacted amazon and they put me in contact with the 3rd party seller out of china. I messaged them with the trouble and have heard nothing back. Spend a little more and get a better product.Update: still no word from the seller. I think I am just out the money. The camera was left out for 10 more days more condensation and only took 3 pictures (I had even turned the sensitivity up) and two of them were me opening the casing to turn it off. Also the fog is now in the lens window so any pics would be blurry anyway.
