I've had easyn and foscam and these Amcrest cameras are superior.Reasons why:1. Better connection to WIFI without a doubt and the Amcrest have no external antenna which is also amazing2. Listening is 10X better than Foscam3. Picture is excellent.4. I use Sandisk ultra 32gb micro sdhc memory card and works like a charm. No issues so far with Amcrest cameras***Setup has a snag which Amcrest needs to mention which they don't. On setup u need to enter correct date and time. I had an ADT tech spend hours trying to get these to work and after searching the net we discovered it. U can set these up yourself. I was 1000 miles away.***

Relatively easy set-up and wide area view! I use it to monitor a large area that I would otherwise find difficult to keep secure. I like that it can be set up and then is basically maintenance-free! Great for keeping an eye on things when I am away from home!

I like the picture quality. The audio setup is the way to go. It was a little difficult to screw the mount to the wall due to the camera’s shape. I had to disassemble the camera partially to be able to secure it to the wall. That wasn’t too big of a deal. Overall I am pleased. I bought 2 separately with discounts from Amazon

Tried this and the Wyze Cam for a baby monitor disconnected from the internet by firewall. The picture and refresh rate are way better on the Amcrest when connecting locally. Plus the Wyze cam I tried didn't have pan/tilt, so that was an added bonus.

I like this camera, especially since I had to locate it away from an outlet. Quality of the item is great and it is well made. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because it really needs an Optical zoom instead of Digital zoom...because the picture gets increasingly worse as you zoom in. You can, however, see and make out objects and items at normal distance without zooming in. The power remains constant with the solar power and it works very well for the price paid.

I live in 12 acres pretty far out of town. I don’t necessarily need a doorbell security camera like is so popular right now since my house isn’t visible from the road so it’s unlikely I’d ever have someone show up unexpectedly or steal packages from my porch (which is what those doorbell cams are great for); however this is perfect because I have it mounted on a detached garage near my house and I can angle it towards the road so I can see if someone pulls into our driveway. The range is remarkable. The picture clarity is outstanding, even on overcast days and during the night. I love this so much I intend on buying one more!
