Setup was a breeze, although the app (Amcrest View Pro, which is free) is not extremely user friendly and could be improved. I couldn't get it to work with the Amcrest Cloud app so I stuck to using the former. Gets the job done though.Great picture quality although I still have unanswered questions using the View Pro app, like how can we lengthen the Playback time? Is it possible? It seems to wipe every hour.

Bought one camera, worked great, went back and bought three more. Had trouble getting them connected at first but with great technical support, Grace C, got them all working.Great product, easy to use, would recommend to anyone looking for a Camera for safety and security.

This is my third sub $200 PTZ Wireless CameraBuild material is mostly all plastic except for the dome top of the camera.Every connection is waterproofed with gaskets.Solar Panel attaches separately and with a single connection to Camera to provide power6 x 18650H Batteries pre installedDual antenna provide decent reception to reach inside house from the backyardUnit only excepts 2.4Ghz which is ok for distance and you don't need 5Ghz speed for cameras anyways.Setup can be a little challenging as it doesn't have a Web interface and it relies on the UBox App for programming and viewing.The setup is what I struggled with a little bit. In the setup you first need to set your phone to your 2.4ghz network. In the setup it will take yo through a wizard then present you with a screen to enter your WIFI password, but then it wont continue. Instead it wants you to scan the QR code on the camera. The thing is, it doesn't show the camera, so you have no idea if your even scanning the code or not. I ended up having to use the Audio setup option. This will send multiple LOUD audio waves for the camera to pick up and program. This did work no problem.Once, setup, the app worked remarkably well and very responsive. In fact the PTZ aspect of the camera was VERY responsive and fast. Much faster then my other two PZ cameras. Ver impressive. Also, the picture quality was very good and decent for this price range.The Few cool premium features this camera comes with is the built in Mic, Speaker and SPOTLIGHT!!You can literally turn on the spot light, which is VERY bright, and pan around with the PTZ to check out your back yard in full light and color. Very Nice feature.With all these features I do have a few cons:This, like many of this price range, is a P2P camera without ONSVIF capability. This is a nice feature that will allow you to easily search and find and add this camera to your DVR for recording. You have to rely 100% on the app for all programming. This is ok if this is the only camera you have, but if you have a Security DVR System, you will not be able to add this camera to that system and will require the app to view.As far as privacy goes, as with any WIFI camera, you will need to keep in mid your privacy while this camera is hooked up to your personal WIFI. Very little if any Encryption is involved and Hopefully it is not easily hackable but no way to prove either.Bottom Line: All in All, if you want this watching your back yard and give you a little control with the added features of the Mic and Speaker along with that powerful bright LED light, this is a great purchase for the Money.If you need this camera to hook up to your existing network, you will need to look elsewhere. This camera does not and will not have that capability.

The first time we purchased this, the night vision didn’t work correctly. We returned it and got a replacement the next day. I contacted Amcrest support and got a prompt and helpful reply. After determining the first one was defective support told me to return it. The new one works great. I like how you can adjust the brightness of the IR lights to get a better image when night vision is active.

Another great camera from Amcrest! We use them in our barn. Excellent!

I have a cam network and like the professional quality of Amcrest Products. Tech Support is OK Best if you are pretty network Computer Savy, But not necessary...

Bought one of these when they were $23,00....it ceased to function 6 months later so contacted the company about a warranty replcement. Lots of round and round with Customer Service and finally I get an RMA to return it for a replacement ...but first they want $15. A BRAND NEW CAMERA IS $23.00. This isn't a warranty, it's a rip off. This is my second attempt at buying Amcrest cameras and every time I've gotten taken. I like them because they are like Foscam (China) cameras of which I have several, but they just are not as well made and die for no apparent reason. I had planned to buy several, but not now. This is ridiculous...$15 to replace a $23 camera? Then I see they've tripled the price so you are buying this poorly made piece of junk for 3x as much....(maybe you won't feel so bad getting ripped off for the additional $15 when it dies a few months later if you over pay now). DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY....these cameras are cheaply made and junk. Should have never given them a 2nd chance!!!!

This is an absolutely amazing product! And I can’t believe the price! But the reason why I only gave it four stars is because it is only as good as the product itself. Even though they advertise you can record from the cloud, nothing about that seems to work. It must have taken me 50 tries to sign up and it would not let me. Every time I tried to sign up for the cloud, it would say that I couldn’t because I wasn’t on the cloud. Of course I wasn’t on the cloud I was trying to sign up for the cloud but I have to be on the cloud to sign up for the cloud. Stupid! Also while trying to register the product, it was one of those nightmare scenarios where it would tell me I couldn’t use my username or password because they were already associated with my email. I have nightmares about that kind of stuff. So as far as the product goes, by itself, I would give it a 5 but if you’re including using the cloud and getting support, I would rate that part a zero

Danny in support was very helpful in the final hook up. The camera gives a very clear video and I would suggest to any one to purchase.
