Bought this to keep tabs on our place when we're not there. Wifi Setup was easy and clear and took about 10 minutes to complete. Setting up to view from a remote source using a web browser, not so easy. I'm a semi experienced IT person, but it was difficult to find a tutorial on Amcrest that taught what ended up being a fairly straight forward process. The youtube videos are good, but they were, usually, for a DVR product not the camera and the menus / selections are different. Finally found the right video and luckily my new TP-Link Deco Mesh wifi has an advanced feature to do Port Forwarding, so after finding that, all is now working. It would be nice to add 1 page to the manual outlining the process to use a remote browser and which video to watch.

Excellent camera for the money. However, very hard to get it to link with iPhone. Also, the desktop application is hard to install, and the desktop application does not have night vision on and off, a definite downside for my application of remote monitoring of observatory roof opening and closing and telescope position.

I found it very easy to install to the house also very easy to link as long as you read the directions properly but you must link it before you install it good picture quality Easy to use on the app I recommend it

After charging camera, set it up with a small bit of difficulty. The instructions were not clear concerning the pairing of the camera. It may have been my fault since it eventually worked without issue. The quality of the picture is very clear and actually has a larger range than stated in the manual. I did buy 2 cameras and am glad I did. Be sure to also purchase the SD card for activation. I will also be subscribing to the Cloud service for my cameras.

Home Security - I absolutely LOVE the new camera, but I have had an older one for sometime, with NO problems out of it. After adding my new ones to my APP it will NOT pick up my older one for ANYTHING! All it does is keep saying this devise already exist. Amcrest support does not call you back, just sends back instructions on how to reset the devise, which has been done over and over... yet it's like this camera just doesn't want to work anymore. Totally sad!

We have 8 of these cameras and they are great. Love that it comes with the mounting bracket for the ceiling. Night vision is awesome. Motion detection is a bit tricky that is why I did not rate that one. May need to do more research. Hoping to get it setup with our Home Assistant.
