So I bought this camera so I would not have to run wires all over the place. I was excited to get it. When it arrived I followed the instruction manual and attempted to charge it. I originally charged it for 12 hours. I was excited and wanted to try it out even though it was still flashing. I wired it up and it worked great while on the charger. I figured in the FL sun it would charge the rest of the way once mounted. I unplugged the charging cable and to my dismay the camera shut off. Thinking maybe for some odd reason it needed to be charged longer. So I plugged it back in and let it charge for 2 more days. It was still blinking after 2 days. I hate the hassle of returning so I looked online and could not find anyone who had a solution. In frustration I unscrewed the cover off the battery box on the solar panel and found the batteries were still wrapped in plastic and would never have charged. After removing the plastic it is now working. Camera is a bit laggy maybe 5 seconds but otherwise good. I have not installed it but I will update after some use.

works better than expected. It does not take the place of a full time recording camera system. But, if you have one area that you want to be able to look at to see what is going on anytime of the day, then this is the camera for you. It also helps ward off opportunist criminals.

The technician was extremely helpful & knowledgeable in resolving the issues with my camera; Bradley helped to download the new app to access and integrate the camera again. Thanks much for your help
