5 Stars on quality of camera, MINUS 1 star for appThe Company's Customer Service is GREATI was very excited when I received the two cameras and eager to set them up. The camera itself looked and felt of good, solid quality, and based only on visual and physical appearance, I can ONLY assume how good it works cause the APP you link the camera to is CRAP, like really CRAP. So, unfortunately, I RETURNED BOTH cameras for I couldn't get them to function to even test themUPDATE: CHANGED my rating from 2 to 4 stars. Company reached out to me and said they will be addressing the APP ISSUE. something I definitely appreciated and worth the change in my rating

Works great, quality is great and the instant notifications when there is activity present is AWESOME!! The solar panel charges the battery fully even though the full sun doesn't hit it until noon.

I put it in the backyard facing the chicken coop and it picked up an opossum eating the birdseed out of a feeder the first night I installed it.

I tried for a couple of days to install it without success.Their online remote help, a seemingly very knowledgeable gal, took care of the problem, and it's working fine.

Bought this camera for my vacation home. Had two other Amcrest cams already installed. This one seemed to install very easily. All looked good thru my phone. When I left and got home tried to access the cam and no connection? The other 2 cams were viewable but not this one. The camera is only visible when the viewing device is connected to the same network. This was a waste of money. I'm past my return window.Switching to a different brand now.Revised - 1 day later - Amcrest tech support sent me an email with a bunch of links. One had the info I needed to make the camera discoverable on the web. It's now working via remote access. Wish I would have spent the extra $10 to get the zoom feature that my other cameras have.

I bought 3 cameras in 2017. They are and have been a godsend for my family. The comfort and peace of mind they give me to stay connected with the house is immense. Just today, 4/13/21, I had the pleasure of Jaden's help in connecting my cameras to a new mobile device. I COULD NOT HAVE DONE THIS WITHOUT HIM! Not that it is hard but I am just not that computer savvy. I cannot say enough good things about the quality of the equipment or the quality of service. On a scale of 1-10, they are a 15!!! You just cannot go wrong with Amcrest.

i bought 2 amcrest cameras and so far so good. the set up was a little tricky so i needed to have support help me. talked to Toby and he updated the firmware and was able to get every thing working for me.. he did a great job. thanks again Toby and i can now enjoy the view......
