This is the second solar camera I bought. This is an excellent high-end security camera. The motion detection starts quickly, works much better than my Ring doorbell. I got the first camera to overlook my backyard, and because I like it very much, I got the second one for my driveway. I love being able to view my property without having to go outside. It helps me to keep track of what is going on. This is the ideal solution for me because where I placed it, this is an area where I can't run electric power. It has been great to run off solar power and don’t worry about electric installation. Living in NY, it hits direct sunlight for just a few hours each day, but that seems to be more than enough to power it completely. I am happy with the video quality and detection quality. It does a great job at night and even has lights, which is pretty cool—overall an excellent option for areas with no power.

First thing to note for all camera purchasers out there: Most outdoor cameras with this price range always require some kind of wires for the power, even though it says wireless. So it's hard to put it up without having to drill a hole on your wall, especially for outdoor because there isn't an outdoor outlet. It didn't feel safe for me to have a wired camera outdoor anyway because it's so easy for someone to just unplug the power. So that's a big plus already. And the fact that it doesn't plug into anything, I hope it will save a little on my electricity bills, which will eventually pay back the cost of the cameras.Image quality: the overall quality is good, nothing too special, it does its job with 1080p, even at night, so no complaint! I am not expecting a 4k-TV-quality for these kinds of cameras. It's not there to stalk my neighbors.Setup: Compared to my current Zmodo cameras, this is much easier and quicker to setup. Zmodo is confusing andsometime bluetooth setup didn't work. Once, setup, the app worked really well and very responsive. It's much faster then my other Zmodo cameras.It's definitely something I would highly recommend!

I bought this to put in the shed that our dogs sleep in because one of the 2 bigs dogs kept tearing up their beds, dog beds are at least $50 each. So after putting the camera in there I found that the German Shepherd was the culprit. The camera works well, I can spin it around and see out the window too. Night vision is awesome and the picture quality is decent. Well worth the money.

I have this camera in our backyard we have a pair of fox living under one of our trees. The video and pictures are excellent but the response when moving the camera is a little slow. The batteries were left out of the packaging so I had to wait another 6 days before I could start using it.

I love the camera, and it has great durability overall in rain and wind, and the picture quality is high. Even the app is easy to use! But the solar panel is fragile, and once it is broken, it is impossible to find a replacement for it.
